In the overworld, the black bulls regained their consciousness and saw the tree of qliphoth gate is closed and both of the captains are free from the coffin like concrete. (I still don't know what's that okay)
"Where's Asta?!" Vanessa remembered and started to get worried when she saw asta isn't there and nacht is standing beside to see mimosa tending yami's and william's wound while noelle tries to defeat the mid ranked devils.
"Asta went to the underworld to defeat lucifero along with his devils" Nacht respond softly which shocked the black bulls, noelle and mimosa
"What do you mean by that?!" Noelle asks angrily, her worriness turns to anger as the black bulls tries to calm her down.
"I know you all want to get asta back but he wants to protect all of you and atone what he did. He said what he did was unforgivable, he feel guilty everyday for what he did" nacht explain to them and they remained silent until nacht breaks tge silence. "Let's go help the others to defeat the devils who escaped from the underworld." Nacht said as they spread out to the spade citizens.
*with asta*
They kept falling for quite a long time until they see a bluish black surface coming into their sight. They open their wings to slow down their speed from falling too hard and avoid getting their legs hurt from the impact when contacting the ground.
They landed and look around if there's any devils nearby to attack them. The underworld is filled with dark purple, black, red and more dark cold colours.
"Now... we need to find lucifero's fortress. It's the best for both of you to stick together, I'll search it in the other direction of where both of you will be going. Remember to telepathy each other if one of us found his fortress" Lucifer tells asta and liebe as they parted.
Asta and liebe are walking in a open area with a few trees has quite a distance between each other, they see some low rank devils lurking around and the devils doesn't care about them.
After awhile they see a building that looks like a fortress and they use telepathy to contact Lucifer. Lucifer told them to find the lucifero and try to trap him in his fortress while he is heading towards the fortress. The fortress is made out of dark purple/purple thats close to black bricks, it has a few flames light up on top of the towers.
Asta and liebe listened to him and headed into the fortress to find lucifero. They see the entrance is guarded by 2 middle rank devils.
They tries to sneek into the fortress without the guards noticing them to avoid making a ruckus and getting lucifero's attention. Unfortunately the luck isn't on their side, the guards detected them with enhanced magic sensing. But asta and liebe quickly defeated them and knock them unconscious. They tied the guards' hands and feet with chains made out of anti magic and went into the fortress.
In the fortress, the hallways are empty with rows of fire dancing elegantly on the candles, the hallways are almost look the same, the doors to the rooms are made with dark purple wood with black steel as the handle. they keep seeing the same thing again and again, they couldn't find the throne room and there's when they realise they are lost. After awhile lucifer found them sitting down, their backs are leaning on the wall
"We can't find him, the castle is too big" liebe said tiredly "asta why didn't you use your magic sensing to detect lucifero's magic" lucifer asked asta

"I didn't think about it" asta said quietly as lucifer sighs.
Lucifer enhance his magic sensing and sensed lucifero's magic in a short time. They headed towards the direction of lucifero's magic. They stop in front of a huge door that's closed, they open the door which leads to the throne room with lucifero sitting on the throne looking at them with a bored look.
"I've never thought somebody will come here during the qliphoth ritual is in progress" lucifero said calmly "shouldn't you be doing the ritual in the overworld, asta? And you came here along with 2 unknown devils that i haven't met."
"I don't care about the qliphoth ritual and letting the devils going to the overworld, all I want is to defeat you" asta said
"Hm... you will die along with the 2 other unknown filthy devils" lucifero said as he got up from his throne while asta and the others took a fighting stance, preparing to fight lucifero.
A/N: final fight at least 2 more chapters to go. Chapter a bit short cuz I'm preparing for year 10 which will be a year before major exam in year 11. Will update asap, I'm busy doing other stuff exp, edits, genshin, osu, drawing, etc. Take care, cya
