They walk about another good 10 minutes when this time Daffy asks them about what their magic powers are since he was pretty interested when Levy used her magic.
Levy: Well as you saw earlier I have what's called solid script magic which lets me write out attacks like fire and make them solid so that I can use them to attack the enemy.
Bugs: You did mention you were a bookworm earlier so I say that fits you pretty well.
Levy: Yeah and it comes pretty handy during a battle so I can help out my fellow guildmates and fight back against the enemy. I can even use my feet now to use my magic if my hands are tied up.
Bugs: It's always good to have a backup plan whenever you're in a jam, isn't that right Daffy?
Daffy: You don't need to remind me. That's the last time I ever try to get out of work to go catch that taco truck. I still think I'm seeing stars every time I open my eyes.
Bugs: I tried to tell you that the higher-ups wouldn't want any of us to be late for the meeting but did you listen of course not.
Daffy: Bugs that gives me an idea.
Daffy: Since these people, all have some type of magic at their disposal, I shall learn how to harness some and become the ultimate toon in history!!!!!!!!
After talking to Bugs, Daffy gets right next to Gajeel leaning up against his shoulder, and says....
Daffy: Which by the way pal, what kind of magic do you use? Some sort of goth magic?
Gajeel: I ain't no goth kid.
Gajeel: My magic specializes in one unique area which is Dragon Slayer Magic.
Daffy: Dragon Slayer Magic?!?!
Daffy: I had a feeling you had an epic magic type.
Levy: Despite thinking he was a goth boy just now.
Lily: These toons are something else.
Bugs: Oh trust me not everyone is as delusional as my friend here.
Jet: Don't worry about it, you all will feel right at home when you meet the rest of us.
Droy: We are the most reckless guild in all of Fiory which tends to have its pros and cons.
Gajeel: But it also makes it very lively for what it's worth so it's not all bad.
Daffy: Right, right but back to your awesome magic, you're telling me that there are dragons in this world?
Gajeel: Well there used to be but the last of the dragons died some years ago and there haven't been signs of any more of them since.
Daffy: Wow well your magic must be pretty useless now that there are no dragons to slay.
Gajeel: My magic specializes in killing dragons but it doesn't mean it only works on dragons.
Gajeel: You can imagine how strong dragon slayer magic must be for one to be able to use it to destroy them in the first place.
Daffy: I suppose you're right.
Daffy: Which means I will now learn how to use dragon slayer magic!!!
Gajeel: Well I'm sorry to tell you this but there's no way you'll be able to learn true dragon slayer magic because we were taught by the real deal.
Daffy: Are trying to make me jealous because it's totally working.
Gajeel: If you really want to though, depending on how well you guys help us I'll be willing to help you find and buy a dragon lacrima that will give you some artificial dragon slayer magic.
