Chapter 9: Friend or Foe?

Gajeel launches himself forward with his iron dragon sword but Mojo Jojo just dodges it and retaliates with a blast from one of his trusty gadgets and hits Gajeel in his left shoulder.

Mojo Jojo: There can only be one evil menses in this world and that is me!!!

Elmer Fudd: Don't forget we're still on the same side now.

Mojo Jojo: I know but you must know your place when paired up with someone like me.

Gajeel: Dam it, not only is he strong and smart but he also has his buddy there to help him out.

Lily: I'll focus on Elmer while you guys figure out a way to beat this guy.

Levy: Sounds good, just be careful Lily.

Lily: You got it, this shouldn't take long.

Lily rushes towards Elmer and dodges all his bullets allowing him to grab him and take him somewhere else.

Gajeel: Now that you and your pal are separated it won't be long until we make you tell us everything you know about what the hell is going on here.

Mojo Jojo: You beating me?

Mojo Joj0: You must be joking.

Levy: I see where dealing with another egotistical villain.

Gejeel: Except this one can actually put up a fight so keep your guard up and stay behind me.

Levy: You know I can help defeat this guy right?

Gajeel: Of course I do. I would be an idiot if I didn't see your strength when it comes to helping out in a battle but you are a lot smarter than I am so for now just hang back and come up with a strategy to outsmart this guy.

Levy: Ok but to do that I have to see more of his fighting style and how he operates.

Gajeel: No problem, I'll give him a fight he'll never forget.

Mojo Jojo is quick to switch to another gadget of his this one with a quicker fire rate than the blaster he had before and starts blasting away in Gajeel's direction. Gajeel makes a sharp turn to the left and another sharp turn to the right as he shoots out his projectile attack called the "Iron Dragon lance". He just misses Mojo Jojo as he reaches out for another one of his gadgets. As their battle rages on, Levy notices how Mojo Jojo seems to be more focused on finding ways to get close to Gajeel rather than trying to dodge most of his attacks. In fact, it seems he just barely gets out of the way of them which means he's most likely a bronze over speed fighter. So upon realizing this she goes up to Gajeel and explains to him what she found out.

Gajeel: So what you're saying is he packs a punch up close but lacks the speed to land a good hit on me.

Levy: Looks like it.... at least that's what his attack patterns are currently showing.

Gajeel: Alright then, looks like keeping our distance will be the key to winning this one. Luckily for us, your magic doesn't require you to get up close in combat so we'll beat this guy in no time.

As they both rush in with this new strategy in mind we move on to another pair of toons who seem to have never really crossed paths with each other until now.

Marvin: I believe we never have formally met earth creatures.

Wile E Coyote shakes his head no as he alongside Road Runner cautiously walk towards them.

Marvin: Look earth creature, you and I aren't so different. We're both masterminds at heart but somehow our brilliant calculations always seem to backfire at us. Doesn't that just fill you with rage and anguish? Don't you feel robbed of something you rightfully deserve?
