Oh Dear (Regina Mills x Fem Reader)

Chapter 3

Y/n was running through the darkness of the tunnel, she heard guards somewhere behind her, but she didn't look back, she just kept running. Finally she saw a light and made her way to the exit of the dusty place she was in. She found herself herself in what seemed to be some foots, they almost looked like the Enchanted Forest. No wait, they were the Enchanted Forest. She made her way to the one place she knew from before, Mother Gothel's cottage.

Of course the old hag wasn't there when Y/n finally reached the destination. Y/n had to hide, it wasn't like she knew what she was doing here, or why she came here. It must have been her powers. Honestly it was like sometimes her powers had a mind of their own, their own agenda and schemes.

She needed to do something! If she didn't do something then her mind would wander, and it kept wandering back to a certain raven haired women. Her smooth voice, the way her eyes sparkled, her perfect figure, her ample red lips, the way her hand fit so perfect around Y/n neck. She shook her head, taking her mind back to the present. She decided she would train, to try and get even a little bit of a grip on her powers.

The next thing Regina knew she was on the ground, her head pounded, and Emma, Snow, David, and Henry were all surrounding her.

"Hey take it easy." Snow said as she and Emma helped her up.

"Mom are you alright?" Henry asked extremely worried.

"Yes, I'm quite fine, I just have a bit of a headache, that's all." she then looked at the empty cell, "wait where's Y/n?"

"She escaped. Don't worry we'll find her." Emma sighed.

"Let round up everyone and start a search." David suggested.

"Hey no, we don't need this to be a big thing. It's my fault this happened in the first place anyways. I kept pushing her when she wasn't ready to talk." Regina replied.

"That doesn't give her the right to just go blasting you and this place." Snow protested.

"That's the thing, I don't think she did it on purpose. I don't think she can control her powers. However, I noticed she used dark magic. Almost like she was the dark one. She told me her father was Zoso." Regina explained to the group.

"Okay well that makes her extremely dangerous, the fact she can't control her magic and that she's literally a Dark One without the dagger." Emma said in a serious manner.

"I think I might of read something a book about a daughter of The Dark One. Something about spreading darkness across the magical realm." Henry blurted out, and now everyone was looking at him.

"HENRY! Why didn't you tell us this sooner?" Regina asked sternly.

"Yeah what's up with that kid?" Emma added.

"Well because I didn't realize it would be relevant until now. It was so long ago, and the storybook never came true, so I thought it might be a mess up or something." Henry said.

"Okay well need to find that book. Henry, do you remember anything  about where you might have seen it?" David asked.

"It would be with some old books of mine back at mom's house in Storybrooke if I'm remembering correctly." Henry said.

"Alright let's go look for it." Emma stated determined as ever.

Back in Storybrooke it took them a few hours, but with everyone putting in the work, they finally found the story book.

"If she accepts her truth than the darkness may be controlled, if she gives in to her pain than darkness will unfold" Henry read from the book.

"Okay, well that doesn't give us much to go on. What does it mean by her truth?" Regina questioned as the other pondered that themselves.

"I'm not sure, but we should go find her before she does more damage." Emma said.

"Listen I think Emma and I should just go for this one. I just remembered her mentioning something and I think I might know where she is, but if a bunch of us go we're just going to spook her." Regina explained to the team.

Everyone nodded and Regina and Emma left, going towards the Enchanted Forest.
