After Trey got done drilling my sister... and yes, I heard every bit of it, he came downstairs and said he was ready to go so we went and go in the car.
"So what's the studio?"
"It's code for this trap thing we run. We sell drugs and stuff. Tonight, we have a huge deal and I thought you'd wanna tag along to see if you wanted to be part of it. It's pretty good money but it is dangerous. If you can handle this tho you'll be coo." Trey talking like selling drugs is a regular job. I ain't never did no shit like this before. I don't know if I'm okay with this.
"Damn bro... y'all ain't never got caught?" Trey snorted.
"Nigga caught? Haha I got the police wrapped around my finger. Trust me... the feds are the last thing you need to worry about doing this. The niggas that wanna be us is who you need to worry about. We're the most respected niggas in Chicago. Ain't nobody fucking with us." Well shit... he making this shit sound like the mob or something.
"Damn... I guess I made friends with the right people then."
"Damn right." He just kept driving as if we weren't talking about selling drugs. This is definitely so much different than LA. I mean of course there were drug dealers and gangs and shit but I was never close to none of that stuff. As much as something is telling me not to do this shit... I'm hella intrigued.
"So what am I gonna do ? I never sold drugs before..." Trey laughed
"You just gonna be there to scope the place... you will protect the product. I'll give you a gun and—"
"A gun?!" Where the hell he get guns from? He laughed again.
"You really are new to this shit. Haha I'll tell you what... when we go over there right now and set up I will show you around... introduce you to my people and give a run down of what's about to happen. If you feel like you can handle it then you can stay and do the drop with me and Darion... but if you feel uncomfortable you can go back home or go chill with that girl of yours." Well, I'm not gonna act like a bitch in front of all those people. Looks like I'm just gonna have to go through with it.
"Coo." We pulled up to this building and it looked like a regular ass building to me. Doesn't scream nothing special. He drove down this alley way to what looks like the back of the building. I got an uneasy feeling in the pit of my stomach. Trey parked the car next to a black car and got out.
"Darion is already here... lets go." We walk toward this door and trey pulls out some keys and unlocks it. We walk in and it was this long dark ass hallway. "We always use the back entrance because there's no cameras and its just safer than being out in the open." I nodded even tho he couldn't see me. This just felt like I was being led to my death. It was kinda creepy in here.
"So you were telling Mary that you feel better with her not being here. Wouldn't here be safer with you than anywhere else?" Trey cleared his throat. Is he nervous?
"A few years ago I was with the OG's and I was new to this stuff just like you are now. But I wanted to learn and I wanted to be just like them so I had to man up and come to a drop they had. Earn my stripes you know?"
"What did they want you to do?" Trey started rubbing his hands together. He is nervous.
"They wanted me to kill the ringleader of their rival. If he was gone they whole setup fell apart because he was the only smart one. Everyone that followed him always acted on impulse. They never stopped to think about what they were doing. Anyway, they came up with this plan to set him up. Malcom was the Og's name, he would meet with the guy... make a deal with him and whether he agreed or not I was supposed to kill him."
