"Thank you so much for letting us stay, Yeji." Felix said as she saddled her horse.

Yeji smiled and said, "It's really no problem."

"Well, we'll see you sometime soon," Hyunjin said as he gave his sister a hug. "Take care of yourself, sister."

With that, the group left Itzia and ventured on towards Cabaran.

"Felix? What if Heesung isn't there when we get there?" Jeongin asked worriedly as her horse came up beside Felix's.

Felix said with a shrug, "Then he's not there, and we'll have to keep looking. If you choose, you can go back to the castle if he's not there."

Jeongin shook her head frantically. "No, I'm not going back. Not until we get the cure for Haven."

Felix smiled and reached over to pet Jeongin's head which caused the teen to start purring. They'd never been able to figure out why, but whenever Jeongin was very comfortable, she'd start purring like a cat.

Felix wanted a bit of time to himself, so he urged his horse to speed up. He was far ahead of the others when his horse stopped abruptly. She wouldn't move no matter how hard Felix tugged on the reins.

"Felix? What's going on?" Tubbo asked anxiously when he caught up to Felix. Their horse stopped abruptly as well, almost throwing them off. He looked over at Felix in confusion, wondering what was going on.

"Something's stopping the horses from continuing." Felix said once the others caught up and their horses stopped as well.

Sam looked nervous when he said, "Someone should go ahead and see what's going on."

"I'll go." Wren said confidently, giving his younger siblings a reassuring smile.

"I'm coming with you." Felix said, grabbing the back of Wren's shirt like the scruff on a kitten before he could go anywhere. The two of them started walking down the path, not seeing the huge drop in front of them when Wren stepped on the edge and lost his footing, falling with a loud shout.

"WREN!" Felix shouted, reaching for him but it was too late, he was falling.

The others heard the shout and came running, arriving at the cliff right as Felix pulled off his cape and jumped over the edge.

"Felix, no!" Hyunjin shouted as he ran over to the edge, leaning over to see Felix and Wren falling towards a huge forest. The drop was at least five hundred feet. They'd die on impact.

I have to get to him. I won't let him die.

The others watched with bated breaths as Wren and Felix fell, disappearing below the treeline. There was no sound other than the wind blowing in their ears.

Kayden let out a gasp, pointing down as something came bursting through the leaves. It was Felix. He had huge red wings and he was carrying Wren in his arms. He hovered in midair for a moment before he flew down to the ground in a clearing that the others could see from their place on the cliff.

"There's a path down there." Yume pointed out.

The group ran down the path and into the forest, quickly finding the clearing where Felix was sitting protectively with his wings wrapped around Wren, who had obviously passed out from the fear.

"Felix! You have wings!" Jeongin said excitedly, running over to admire Felix's wings. He ran his hands over the red feathers, watching in astonishment as the wings fluttered

"Why'd I get them now?" Felix wondered to no one in particular.

"Cases like this aren't common, but they do happen. Some angels and demons get their wings in situations where they need them most, whether that means their in danger or something else." Jiyoung explained as he looked at Wren's wounds. They were mostly just scratches from branches as he fell through trees, but he had a pretty bad one from hitting a big branch on his back.

"They're beautiful." Wren mumbled as he stared up at them. Having just woke up and since he was in a lot of pain, he was pretty weak. Felix gasped and hugged Wren protectively, his wings shifting as Jeongin played with and poked at them.

Felix handed Wren over to Hyunjin and stood up, giving one glance at his wings before he shot into the air, going five hundred feet in the air in a single second. He figured he was never getting his wings, just like all his siblings had. They'd seen their dad's wings and always hoped of getting them, but none of them got their wings when they turned eight, so they just always assumed they weren't ever going to get them.

Felix let out a happy shout as he flew through the air, flying in circles above the clearing. Wren was right, his wings were beautiful. They were a dark red color that matched the color of Jisung's eyes. They were huge as well. His wing span was most likely seven feet.

He flew back down to the clearing and Yume gasped. "Felix, you're bleeding!"

Felix looked and there was blood dripping down from where his wings came out of his back.

"Oh, I'm bleeding." He whispered.

Yume sighed and walked over to Felix, taking out a cloth and wiping the blood away. The place where his wings had grown was completely healed, it had healed immediately, but it still bled for a second.

Once Yume was done, Felix let out a sigh and flopped backwards onto the grass. Jeongin and Kayden looked at each other mischievously, running over and falling down on top of Felix. Felix let out an 'oof' and Wren and Sam ran over and fell on top of them as well. The triplets plus Sam were a giggly mess, while the adults watched fondly.

Felix smiled fondly while no one was looking. These people were his family. They were his everything and he would do just about anything for them. He'd do anything for them.

He would give his life for them.
