Hyunjin was a simple person. He didn't ask for much in life, but was it too much to ask for a few moments alone with his significant other? Every since they left Akaria, Hyunjin hasn't gotten a single moment alone with Felix. He wasn't going to complain because Felix was having fun and smiling with her younger siblings, but Hyunjin just wanted to spend some time with her.

Like now, they were riding through the forest, but Felix was talking and laughing with Wren and Sam. Now, Hyunjin wasn't a jealous person. He'd never get anywhere in life if he was jealous of Felix's younger siblings, but Hyunjin was starting to get irritated. Anytime he tried to get Felix alone, they'd be interrupted by someone or something.

Plus, Hyunjin was exhausted. The group had been riding for almost a whole day now, and Hyunjin hadn't slept in almost forty-eight hours. He just wanted to sleep, but he also wanted some time with Felix.

Hyunjin decided that they'd stop at the next town, which was just outside of the forest. It was a village named Yelenia.

"Are we stopping in Yelenia, Hyunjin?" Jeongin asked as his horse came up beside Hyunjin's.

Hyunjin nodded. "We'll stop there for a few days, just enough to get rest and some more supplies and food."

Jeongin nodded. He'd been to Yelenia before. He'd gotten very sick before, and at the time, the castle did not have an alchemist who could create a potion strong enough to help him, so they had to travel to Yelenia which is where most alchemists come from since there's a very prestigious school of alchemy there. Jeongin was only seven, but he remembers there being a huge festival around this time of year filled with dancing and food and anything a person could ever need.

Jeongin also knew how Hyunjin hadn't gotten any time with Felix and was getting irritated by that, so he, Wren, Kayden, and Sam were planning a date for Hyunjin and Felix. It all depended on them stopping in Yelenia though.

Jeongin looked over at Kayden and nodded, indicating that the plan was still on.

Operation get Hyunjin and Felix a date was a go.

They arrived in Yelenia with no problems. They were able to find a stable for their horses and an inn to stay in. They were given a suite for free when the innkeeper realized who Felix was.

Jeongin and Wren dragged Hyunjin out of his room while Kayden and Sam pulled Felix away from whatever book she was reading. Phase one of the plan, keep the two apart until sunset. They made Hyunjin and Felix go with them around the stalls at the festival, making sure to go the opposite way if either duo saw the other.

"Alright you two, what's going on here? You keep taking me in circles and won't let me go near certain places." Felix said with her eyebrow raised, looking down at Kayden and Sam who looked guilty.

"Well, we could tell that Hyunjin was getting frustrated since he hasn't been able to spend any time with you, so we were planning on arranging a date for you two, but we had to wait till sunset when the festival really starts. We wanted it to be a surprise." Sam explained while Kayden had a pout on his face at getting caught.

Felix smiled at the two teens and said, "Aww, you guys are cute. Thank you."

"Can you not let Wren and Jeongin know that you know? They were so excited to do this for you, and I don't want them to be sad." Kayden whispered.

"Alright, Ro, I won't say a word." Felix said, ruffling Kayden's hair, earning a grin from the boy.

Once the sunset, the festival started. Music started playing and people started dancing in the square. It was beautiful. There were many beautiful decorations and lanterns set up, and fireworks went off, covering Felix's surroundings in splashes of color.

Felix tried her best to hold in her giggle when she heard Wren and Jeongin saying "Go, go! She's right there!" to Hyunjin, pushing him towards Felix.

Felix felt a tap on her shoulder and turned around with a smile to find Hyunjin behind her, looking nervous.

Felix giggled. "Hi, Jinnie."

"Hi, Lix. Do you want to dance with me?" Hyunjin stumbled over his words a bit, to which Felix smiled fondly at him. She grabbed his hand and pulled him into the crowd of dancing people.

Felix laughed happily as she was spun around by Hyunjin. They danced to the upbeat song, smiling and laughing the whole time. They were out long after the festivities ended, walking through the forest they'd come out of. It was a different path than they'd been following.

"Come with me, I want to show you something I found when I came here as a child." Hyunjin said as he started running hand-in-hand with Felix, who just laughed and ran with him.

Felix heard the sound of rushing water, giving Hyunjin a confused look even though he couldn't see her.

Hyunjin brushed aside some hanging vines, and Felix let out a gasp.

In front of her were the most beautiful waterfall and pond. It was filled with cute little koi fish.

"Hyunjin, this is beautiful." Felix whispered, holding onto Hyunjin's arm as she stared in wonder at the scene in front of her.

Hyunjin smiled fondly at Felix. "I found this place when I was a child, and I always wanted to bring someone here."

Felix let go of Hyunjin's arm, walking over to the pond. She took her shoes off and waded into the shallow water. She turned around and gestured for Hyunjin to join her, smiling as he walked into the water with her. She laid her head on his shoulder as the two of them watched the waterfall.

"I actually have something for you." Hyunjin whispered as he reached into his pocket.

Felix watched as he pulled out an sapphire ring, gasping in disbelief.

"Hyunjin, no... You didn't..."

"It's not a proposal. We're definitely not ready for that. It's a promise." Hyunjin said, taking Felix's hand and sliding the ring onto her finger. He had a similar one of ruby that he put on his own finger.

"I've loved you for four years, and I will love you for a million more, Felix." Hyunjin whispered, kissing the back of Felix's hand. "Blue looks good on you."

Felix felt tears come to her eyes as she threw her arms around Hyunjin, hugging him tightly.

"I love you too, Hyunjin."
