Banishment

Enki stepped out of the house and closed the door, he then walked towards the cave "Elli... are you in there" he called out, he then heard a soft sound of a child crying. He walked further in and walked up the stairs that lead to a different part of the cave, when he does he sees Elizabeth crying with cuts and bruises all over her body. Her Angelic wings wrapped around her and her halo had become a ring of white flames. "Child what happened" he asks as he walks over slowly, trying not to startle her.

Elizabeth looks up and lunges at Enki, wrapping her arms around his waist, white feathers fly everywhere. Enki freezes for a moment and then gently sits down and hugs Elizabeth, he holds her close, wishing that nothing had ever harmed her. After a few hours of them sitting there Elizabeth tells him what happened, how her best friends only faked their friendship to try to become the next generation of Divine Warriors.

Enki became furious, he wanted to hurt those who hurt Elizabeth, but he held his anger in and picked Elizabeth up and started to walk out of the cave. "Let's get you patched up and then you can sleep, you must be exhausted" Enki says as he opens the door to the house and walks inside. Elizabeth had become very sleepy from crying so much and nodded in response to him. Enki sat Elizabeth down on the couch and went to get the first aid kit, when he came back Kul'Zak, Menphia, and Esmund had come home and saw the state of Elizabeth.

They were about to demand Enki to tell them what happened but Enki sent them a slight glare, silently telling them not to ask what happened until Elizabeth went to sleep. They became quiet and watched Enki apply herbs to Elizabeth's wounds and bruises, he then bandaged the cuts and took her to her bedroom. Enki comes down the stairs after a few minutes and looks at them, he explains everything that he was told, before he finishes the others are about to leave to find the kids and their parents.

"Would you please sit down... remember we are lords, just because we get angered at a few people doesn't mean we have the right to blow up at them. Yes, I am angry too but I am thinking we need to get Irene and Shad here before we do something that is rash..." Enki says as he looks at his comrades. "But Enki, they are weeks away from here..." Menphia says as she looks at Enki, trying to get him to understand that they must act now.

"But knowing those two and how much they care about Elizabeth they would rather be here for her than be in a war when Elizabeth is hurt" Enki snaps at Menphia, causing her to sit down and close her mouth. "I will be sending a bird to Irene and Shad, telling them that Elizabeth needs them because something has happened that needs to be dealt with by all lords of the village" Enki says as he stands up and looks at the others. "They will most likely be at the front gate in three to four days once receiving the message" Kul'Zak says as he leans on the wall and crosses his arms.

"I agree with Enki on this, it is better to act with all of us here so we don't do something we will regret..." Esmund says, causing Menphia to sigh softly. "Then let's send the message birds and get some rest" Menphia says and gets up. She heads up towards Elizabeth's room and goes inside, when she does she sees Elizabeth fast asleep on her bed, her angel wings folded up.

In the camp that Irene has sided with, a raven flies towards the commander, he gently takes the note off of its leg and sees that it is for Irene the Matron. The commander rushes to Irene's tent "Lady Irene you have a letter from Scenic Village, it's marked as urgent" the commander says before entering the tent, Irene gets up from her chair and walks over to the commander "thank you commander, you are excused" the commander nods and then leaves.

Irene sighs, fearing that there is another war that she feels she must fight with her village "let's see what happened" Irene says as she opens the letter.
