Chapter 8

The Blessing

When Aphmau and Garroth get back to the room that the shadow was in is gone, Elizabeth is on the side of the building trying to stay calm. "Elli what happened to the room" Aphmau asks as she walks over to Elizabeth who is standing in the doorway. "I asked the soul a few questions... it started to slur its words so I left, when I did the ground shook and the room was gone. I took a copy of the room with my magicks if you want to see it" Elizabeth says as she forces herself to stand straight and wish she didn't have to lie about using magicks instead of witchcraft.

"We would like to see it" Elizabeth nods to Garroth's statement and tries to form the room around her, but as she tries the heart in Aphamu's hands starts to turn Elizabeth's wings black. The witchcraft she had used to take a copy of the room wouldn't work "I used too much magicks today... I'm sorry but I won't be able to show you tonight, maybe in the morning" Elizabeth says as she looks down. "It's alright, you helped weaken the spell on Alexis, got Molly, and helped me understand what that broken soul was talking about" Aphmau says and smiles softly.

Aphmau and Garroth thought it would be best to ask Elizabeth what she is in the morning, so everyone has time to rest after what happened. Elizabeth on the other hand didn't know if she would be back in the morning as her soul was sent back to her body once again. The next morning she does appear in the village but close to the docs this time. Elizabeth looks out at the ocean and sighs softly, she then touches the necklace that Irene gave to her.

After a few minutes she senses two people walking towards her, she turns around and moves her hands behind her back. "Lady Aphmau, Garroth" Elizabeth smiles at them, but does not receive one back "we need to see that room now... and we have questions we want to ask you as well Elli Moon" Garroth states as he stands in front of Elizabeth, Aphmau standing behind him. "I understand. Let's start with the questions first... I would like to have those done sooner than later" Elizabeth says as she stood straight and didn't back down from the demands.

"What are you" Aphmau asked "I am a human with rare magicks called Angelics... it allows me to use light and dark magicks" Elizabeth says as she lifts up her hands and uses the spell Elumos to form two balls of light in each hand, one is pure light and one is pure dark. "I am able to use any magicks that relates to the two sides... it also forces me to have angel wings and halo" Elizabeth answers, she then takes the Silent Sight spell off of her wings and halo. The two are shocked and Elizabeth feels slightly bad about keeping the fact that she can use witchcraft.

"What do you know about the broken soul... how do you know so much about them" Aphmau asks, "I do not know much about the broken soul, only that it was taken over by pure darkness to cause it to become like that. For the other part of that question it's hard for me to explain..." the two look at Elizabeth confusedly. "I have met multiple broken souls... all taken over by evil and stripped of their mortal bodies. But they still recalled who they once were, they told me everything that happened and what they were. All of them had the same thing in common... they were part of something pure evil" Elizabeth says as she looks down slightly. Hours go by and once they understand Elizabeth a bit more they understand why she hid her magicks. "I'm sure no one in the village would try to take your magicks, but would you be willing to help Kawaii-Chan and Zoey try to turn Alexis back to normal and wake her up" Aphmau asks kindly.

"I will try my best, but I haven't got full control over the darker side of my magicks, I fear I might do more harm than good" Elizabeth says as she looks at Aphmau and Garroth. "It won't hurt to try, any help we can get would be greatly appreciated" Garroth says as he smiles under his helm. "I will do my best... also do you mind telling the other villagers about me and my magicks? I would appreciate it greatly so I don't have to keep hiding my wings and halo" Elizabeth asks nervously and rubs the back of her neck.

"Gladly, I'm sure Molly would love to know someone with Angelic like magicks will be trying to wake her daughter" Aphmau says kindly. Another hour goes by and Elizabeth had shown them the copy of the room, along with what the broken soul looked like. Days went by and Alexis still hadn't woken up, but Elizabeth was using any time she got away from her guard position to help weaken the spell. Elizabeth was slowly chipping away at the spell on Alexis, but when she was alone with Alexis she would call upon her fathers help to try to fully break it.

"I'm sorry, but I won't be much help, you have chipped away at the spell so much on your own I don't think there is anything I can help with" Shad says as he looks at Elizabeth. "Thank you for trying anyway" Elizabeth smiles and hugs her dad, he gently hugs her back before disappearing. Elizabeth overhears Aphmau talking to Emmalyn and decides to find the wyverns, she leaves before anyone notices and goes to the grave of the Ungrth, the wyverns at the grave don't recognize Elizabeth and try to scare her off.

Elizabeth turns around to them and smiles softly "it's been a long time since I have seen you Raven... please tell me you and your kin have not forgotten our bond" Elizabeth asks softly as she looks at the wyverns, that's when they realize who she is "E-Elizabeth... is that really you" Raven asks as he walks closer to Elizabeth "it is... and for right now I go by Elli; to keep the family secret" Elizabeth says as she gently picks Raven up and hugs him gently.

The other wyverns tear up and pile onto Elizabeth, they have missed her greatly "I've missed you all so much... let me help you with the grave" Elizabeth says as she smiles at Raven, tears still flowing down her cheeks. "Ungrth would want nothing less than to have your mark on the grave. For him to know you are always with him" Raven says and all the wyverns get off of Elizabeth. She stands up and walks over to the grave, she closes her eyes. Gathering the magic within her and her hand becoming engulfed in a light blue glow, she then moves her hand to slash the grave. When she does a faint engraving of angel wings with a halo in the center of the wings appears in the golden gravestone.

Right when Elizabeth's hand stops glowing Aphmau walks over and talks to Raven. While they talk Elizabeth remembers how the black matter and purple crystals were in almost every realm Irene and Shad fought in when Shad learned how to break through realms. "So what do we need to do to get rid of the break within the realm..." Elizabeth asks as she looks down at Raven he explains what we need and Elizabeth smiles softly "but don't take more than you need. Or we will hurt you" Raven exclaims and she smirks "aw you would really hurt the only two humans able to speak with you" Elizabeth teased the wyvern.

Elizabeth helps Aphmau make the shrine "Lady Aphmau, do you mind if I put the soul fragment into the center..." Elizabeth asks and looks at the water. "Not at all... I understand you and him had a bond so I can completely understand that you would want to help fix what happened" Aphmau says as she smiles. She hands Elizabeth the soul fragment and Elizabeth flies to the center and closes her eyes. "Please mom... please make it where this land is healed from what broke through and heal those who are damaged by the break in the realm..." Elizabeth thinks as she lets go of the fragment and it falls onto the center of the shrine.

When the fragment hits the center pure waves of energy come off of it, in the center forms a statue of Irene, holding the fragment in the air, her eyes closed. Elizabeth floats in the air next to Aphmau and closes her eyes. She can feel her mothers warm embrace once again from every wave of energy; she smiles softly as she opens her eyes and looks around.

The black matter had been turned to pure diamond blocks and the purple crystals were now able to brittle. The realm barrier had been healed and fixed, the aura of the village was no longer gloomy and dark, it was now bright and happy. As if Irene herself had used her magicks to fix it. With every wave of energy Elizabeth could feel the dark magicks on Alexis was weakening even more than what Elizabeth could do. "Thank you mom... your magicks and witchcraft saved the day once again" Elizabeth thought to herself before gently landing on the ground.

"It's beautiful..." Elizabeth says softly "it is... it really is" Aphmau says and smiles as she walks further into what once was a broken realm.
