Hinata thought about it whole night, even when he tried to convince himself that he would forget about all these and just be happy and content like he has been these few years without anyone in his life. He made up his mind, he'll just go back to being normal. Everything is good. He doesn't need any romantic partner in his life, doesn't need a shoulder to cry on, a person to laugh and be childish with, a person with whom he can share his life. He doesn't need all that at all, he can stay like this for forever if that means he wouldn't get hurt the way he did in the past. He is fine being by himself. Being alone. He has his sister, two father and mother figures and a sister and a brother and lots of friends. He can be happy with this much no he has to be with this much. He would control his emotions and focus more on volleyball and his work, yeah just like he has always been doing and everything will go back to normal..

That's what he thought.

Hinata couldn't focus on anything properly. He wasn't as bright and cheerful at work and with his friends, it seemed like something is bothering and he has been distracted most of the times. Everyone noticed the change in ginger but didn't say anything to him.

They all met up at Kiyoko's apartment to discuss about Hinata on the weekend.
"So.. What happened to Hinata? Does anyone know" Suga raised the question.
Everyone were silent, they didn't know what is wrong with their sunshine.
"Ano.. I don't know if it's relevant or not but last Tuesday he called in the evening and cancelled all the meetings.. " Yachi informed the group.
" Did you ask about the reason? " Akashi asked
" When I asked if he was alright and should I check up on him, he just dismissed me saying he's tired that's all and I don't have to check up on him.."
Yachi explained.
"Wasn't it Tuesday when kageyama and Hinata went out to cafe? "Yamaguchi pointed out. Everyone's attention turned to Kageyama.
" Did you do something to him king? " Tsukishma glared at him
" Tsk of course I didn't" Kageyama retorted
" Can you tell us what happened that day kageyama? What did you two talk about? " Daichi asked
" You better not have said anything bad to chibi-chan Kageyama! I'll kill you myself. "

" After knowing what Hinata thought of me I couldn't focus properly on practice, Hinata noticed this and approached me asking what was wrong, we couldn't talk it out in practice so went to a nearby cafe. When he asked again I didn't know what I was gonna say so I told him the half truth and half of what was bothering me "
" Can you elaborate on what you told him" Akashi asked
" I said there was this one person I have liked for a while and I was scare of confessing and told him about that person being the first one I have ever liked and I don't know how all this works. "
"Oh.. " Everyone were gloomy thinking about this being the reason for sunshine to act This way.
"What did he say? " Kenma asked his heart breaking by thinking about this
" He said that person is lucky to have been liked by you, you should confess and he is sure that person would be happy to accept" Everyone stayed silent.
"Akaashi does this mean Hinata likes Kageyama? " Bokuto finally asked question everyone were to scared to ask and accept.
" I.. I don't know Bokuto-san.. " Akashi's heart was breaking and he couldn't accept it.
" Okay everyone.. No need to be down.. You all can still try. By the sound of it.. It does seem like Hinata is affected by Kageyama having feelings for someone else.. But he still doesn't know that it's him who kageyama was talking about so you all still have chance. " Kiyoko consoled
" Yes as Kiyoko said he still doesn't know and Kageyama I know it's not fair to ask you this but can you not tell him for a while I want everyone to have a chance and express their love for Hinata." Suga asked kageyama
Everyone were silently hoping and praying for Kageyama to say yes.
" Okay Suga-san, I know everyone here loves Hinata as much as I do. It's not like even if I tell him, Hinata will accept me, I also need time to prove that I won't turn out like the ones in his past relationship. So everyone else can also have their chances just like me. " Kageyama said which made everyone in the group shocked.
They knew if it was them whom tangerine liked even in the slightest they would jump at the chance and make him theirs. But maybe they would also make the same choice if they give it a thought.. Whatever the case was, everyone were happy that they still have a chance to show their love to Hinata even if he won't accept them.
"Okay then everyone lets leave it at this, let hinata have his space we will think about what to do later. " Kiyoko ended the discussion.
