Suna was at his home, it was already evening. He was thinking how Sakusa was flirty and bold with his feelings on Hinata. He felt as though he would loose Shoyo to someone else and will remain a friend if he doesn't do anything soon.
The lad has been in love with him since they were in college, he couldn't express his feelings back then as there were many things and he couldn't get the chance back then and he had to be Hinata's friend more at that time than approach him in romantic way.

Its not that Suna hasn't subtly shown his intentions with Shoyo, calling meet ups date, calling him with nicknames, nothing bold but they were there. With his constant dating rumours as he is a idol and the fact that Shoyo thinks Suna is straight as he was dating a girl when he first met Shoyo and had given a complete straight vibe due to his developing contradiction of him realizing he has started liking Hinata in a romantic way. He couldn't accept the fact back then in college and dated many girls to prove his growing feelings wrong and just infatuation on Hinata's undeniable beauty.

He sighed. He needs to take action now. Hinata and Suna has spent many years together so he atleast thinks it wouldn't break what they have right now.

He decides to call Hinata to his apartment that night for dinner and to chill. It's not an option for him in public to have a peaceful time with him as he is a public figure. They do this many times, they just chill and watch something and eat. It's his favorite thing to do as he can be close to Shoyo and have him all to himself and feel like they are something special.

Shoyo also needed to get off so many things off his chest so he instantly agreed to chilling the night at Suna's condo.

Hinata rang the bell, Suna hurriedly got up and opened the door.
"Come on in" Suna pulled Shoyo inside as soon as he opened the door.
"Easy easy Rin, let me remove my shoes first" Hinata chucked. After removing his shoes he smiled at Suna and showed him the bags one with beers and one with food.
" Oh good you brought beers and food, I had only few left" Suna said as he thought its good that ginger is in the mood to drink, it would be easier for him to convey his feelings with a beer or two down.
"Of course! I am all in to chill and talk whole night today!! " Ginger exclaimed happily.

They took out the food on plates and opened up a couple of beers and sat down on the floor in Suna's bedroom.
Floor had warm fuzzy floor mat on it and there was music playing in the background. Lights a little dim but had enough lighting. It was overall a cozy nice and cool vibe as there wr only two people hanging out.

They had a couple of cans and wr already in the buzz alcohol doing its magic. They just vibed with songs and joked and laughed about random things.
Suna was already a little drunk but was conscious about what's happening, he thought of bringing the topic now would be perfect as he knew Shoyo is also in the same state. They aren't very drunk and are well conscious.
"So with you bringing beer without asking, what is it that you want to get off your chest? Hm? " Suna enquired
"You know me too well Rin" Shoyo smiled at Suna
"Of course my sunshine, so tell me" Rin replied
"On the second thought wait," Suna immediately added.
"I have something I have to say first" He added. Suna didn't want to take any chances, he doesn't know what the ginger will tell him but he thought what if it is about any guy he has started liking? He cannot back off and lose this chance, before Shoyo say anything he wanted to let his feelings known to Shoyo.
"Ohkay, tell me. What's it? " Ginger asked acknowledging Suna's words.
Suna took a deep breath and pushed himself in his mind to just come out and say it.

"Shoyo, I know you think I am straight but.. I have been in love with you since our college. " Suna admitted it without draging anything further.

Hinata blinked a for a few seconds processing what he just heard.
