Timeskip to a year after your son was born

Our protagonist Aiko and Zhongli were blessed with a baby boy named Daichi .

Today was Daichi's first birthday and a party was being held in their teapot.

Like the wedding , the birthday too was a low-key one . The guests were Madame Ping and the adepti , Xiao , Childe , Yanfei , and Qiqi.

"Happy birthday Daichi"
After cutting the cake and everything .
The guests left and it was just the couple left.

Aiko seated herself on their bed and sighed.
It wasn't easy having a kid , especially since the kid was abit too hyperactive.

Zhongli walked in , holding their little boy in his arms .

He saw her tired and went to comfort her.

"I think the party went well"
"It surely did"
"Do you think our son liked it?"
"Baby , did you like ittt???" Zhongli asked in a childish voice.
Daichi giggled and kissed his father .
"I think he did"
Not long after , Daichi fell asleep and Zhongli kept him in his crib.

"Aiko ..."
"Yes?"
"There's something important I need to tell you"
"Mhmm?"
"I.... I'm not human....."
"What? Zhong don't joke around !"
"No really , I....."
Aiko remained silent .
From nowhere , Zhongli summoned a Zither .
He started playing it.

Suddenly memories from her past lives started flashing before her eyes.
Rex Lapis? Aiko weeped.
She felt bad for making him wait so long.

Aiko hugged Zhongli tightly .
"Rex Lapis...... I've made you wait.... I-"
"Hush dear , I wouldn't mind waiting a thousand years , if at the end I could meet you again"
Aiko silently cried in her lover's arms .
Finally they were together.
They were a family now.
