Attack On Titan/Eremika {Alternate Ending}

Chapter 1

*Mikasa POV*

I stood up and looked out of my window; it was still pitch black. I sighed as I opened my door and silently made my way to Eren's room. I softly knocked on the door as my hand rested on the doorknob.

Eren has been having intense nightmares every night so I come over and stay with him. After a minute or two of silence, I opened his door and took a step inside. I saw him sitting on his bed while he held his head and looked at the floor. He seemed distraught.

I sat next to him and put my hand on his knee as I softly asked," Eren, are you okay?" He didn't reply, his eyes staring at the floor and quite wide. I moved my hand from his knee to his shoulder as I slightly made less space between us," Did you have a nightmare?"

He didn't reply, in fact, he stayed still as if he was a statue. After a few minutes of silence, Eren closed his eyes as he spoke, his voice slightly shaking," Mikasa...get away from me." I looked at him, speechless.

Eren let go of his head and looked at me, seeming as if he's mad," Why are you not leaving?" I replied," Because I care about you, and you're probably saying that because of your nightmare." Eren looked at me, a small fire visible in his eyes," I don't want to see you, please leave my room."

I closed my eyes," Eren, you asked me to come to your room every night. Why are you sending me away?" Eren replied," I can't take seeing you-so I need you to leave." I opened my eyes," Please...tell me what you dreamt."

Eren spoke with poison in his voice," Mikasa, I won't repeat myself. Leave my room." I sighed," Eren, I don't want to make you mad." I closed my eyes as I stood up. I was about to leave when I heard Eren make a sound.

I'm not sure what sound it was but I think it was a soft groan. I didn't turn back to face Eren as I left his room and went to my own. I looked into my full body mirror and gave myself a once-over. I slightly lifted my shirt and saw that the scar on my stomach was slowly healing.

I decided to go train since I was already up. I changed into a sports bra and a shorts that Eren had given me. I quickly made my way outside and started running laps. I started seeing the horizon by the time I reached 50 laps.

I decided to stop running and walked to Eren's room. Ever since I left, there has been a bad feeling lingering around me. The more time it took, the more worry came over me. I eventually ended up running to Eren's room.

I didn't bother knocking because I threw his door open. I gasped when I noticed something," Eren?" He wasn't in his room. I started breathing hard.

Calm down Mikasa, he's not gone. Maybe he just went to eat or something, there's no reason to be scared.

I ran to every possible place where Eren could be but I didn't find him. I ran to the stables and saw that Eren's horse was gone," Eren!" I ran to my horse and took her rein. I looked at her and we quickly left the walls.

Luckily, I was changed into my ODM gear already. I didn't take the time to notice if Eren's ODM gear was missing or not. I rode around shouting," EREN! EREN! WHERE ARE YOU!?" There was no possible way to know where Eren was, so I let my heart guide me.

I saw a huge forest and rode towards it," Come on, girl!" I said to my horse and she started to run faster. We stopped when we saw a river. My heart dropped when I saw a 3 meter titan in front of me.

I thought they were all dead!

I jumped of my horse and got ready to kill it but then I heard a soft voice," I'm sorry, Mikasa." The voice sounded like Eren and I shouldn't have paid attention because I paid the price for it. The titan grabbed me and crushed me.

I heard something crack but ignored it. I used all my strength to get out of its grasp and managed to kill the titan. I looked and saw that the sun was almost up. I jumped on my horse and closed one eye as I grunted.

I sighed," I really thought I would find Eren in this forest. I just had such a good feeling about this place, guess it was useless though." I started riding back and noticed that the sun had fully risen. My head sunk.

Where are you, Eren?

~Eren POV~

I sat in a tree. Mikasa had just left the forest. I stood up," Forgive me, Mikasa. I'm doing this to keep you safe." I jumped off the tree and saw Zeke. He smiled," I thought you would go to her, by the looks you were giving."

I replied, keeping my face as blank as possible," She's not important to me, I feel nothing towards her." Zeke put a hand on my shoulder," Good, you deserve someone better than her anyway. Now let's get going. I want to get to Marley before sundown."

I nodded my head as I bit my hand to draw blood," Yeah." We transformed into titans and started making our way to Marley. Just as we reached the coast, I asked," So we'll be taking a ship?" Zeke nodded his head," Yeah, this is the last one so we should be quick."

I nodded my head. We quickly ran to the ship and got onto it. I looked back at Paradis.

I will never forget you guys and I promise I'll be back. Mikasa...please forgive me and wait for me.
