Chapter 9

#Sasha POV#

I asked," Have any of you seen Mikasa?" Armin swallowed a piece of bread as he answered," She wasn't in your room in the morning?" I shook my head," No, I didn't see her." Connie bit into his bread," She wakes up earlier than all of us, always been like that."

Jean questioned," Did you go to the training hall or field? She's probably is training, because she's Mikasa." I replied," I checked there already." Armin held his spoon to his mouth," If she's not there, then she's in Eren's room."

Jean scoffed," How long has that useless being been gone?" I lifted my hand as I started counting," One.....two, three.....four-" Armin answered," He's been gone for a month." Connie asked," You think Mikasa went to look for him?"

I shook my head," She always goes out with her ODM gear, it's still here." Armin raised an eyebrow," What about her horse?" I sighed," Still here too." Jean put his fork down," So her ODM gear and horse is still here, you didn't see her in the morning, she isn't in the training hall and field....so where the hell is she?"

I stood up," We have to find her!" Connie pointed to my bowl," You haven't finished eating." I took a second,".......Mikasa is more important, I can eat whenever I want-I can't have Mikasa missing."

Armin replied," Yeah, we need to find her and immediately." Jean scoffed," Stupid Eren, even when he's gone, he's causing problems." Connie laughed," It's extremely funny that you're wanting to find Mikasa instead of eat."

I bit my lip," I'd rather have Mikasa than food." Armin put a hand on my shoulder," She really is important to you, isn't she?" I replied," Mikasa has saved all of us more than once. She's my best friend and I don't know what I'll do without her."

Connie rolled his eyes," You're just saying that because Mikasa always splits her sixth bowl of food with you-" I softly shouted," Not just for that! Mikasa means a lot to me and I want her by my side."

Armin smiled," I think we all feel the same, so let's find her." Jean stood up," I'll look in the training rooms." Connie started looking around," I'll check our rooms." Armin said," Guess I'll check the Military and Garrison for her."

I turned around," I'll check the city for her, we need to find Mikasa." I left and went to Wall Sina. I got mad as I looked at all the people that were walking around.

How the hell am I supposed to find Mikasa among all these people? Great job setting yourself up for this!

I hit my forehead and heard a girl ask," Sasha? Why are you here?" I exclaimed," Lily! Thank goodness you're here!" Lily smiled," You seem extremely happy to see me. Did you have potatoes and meat today?"

I shook my head," No! But I need your help!" Lily held my hand," What's the problem?" I replied," It's Mikasa! She's missing! I don't know where she is and I need you to help me find her!"  Lily nodded her head," Got it, I'll have soldiers looking for her right away."

A man asked," The Military could be doing better things than looking for a missing woman who probably isn't important." Lily laughed," As if they do anything! I caught most of them slacking off!"

Lily held my hand as she dragged me off to a field. She shouted," All right! Everyone, listen up!" Everyone started looking at Lily as she said," I want you all looking for a woman named Mikasa Ackerman! She's about my size, short black hair, gray eyes...."

Lily turned to look at me," Do you happen to know what she was wearing?" I shook my head," No, sorry." Lily nodded her head as she smiled," It's okay. Has everyone got that!" I heard some groan and one guy ask," How exactly would that work?"

Lily replied," A quarter of them will go to Wall Maria, the other quarter Wall Rose, the two last quarters will stay here in Wall Sina-half will look for Mikasa, the other will do work." I held my head," I don't understand what you just said, way too many words."

Lily put a hand on my shoulder," Haha, no worries. Now everyone-leave!" I looked at her," I'm going to look in Wall Maria for her, I have a good feeling." Lily smiled," I hope you find Mikasa." I hugged her tightly," Thanks for all the help, it means a lot."

Lily tightly hugged me," Anything for my friends." I started waving," I'll be off now!" Lily waved back," Bye!" I started making my way to Wall Maria.

Mikasa, please be safe.

{Jean} 

I went to the first training hall out of three, plus the field. I shouted loudly," Mikasa, you here!" I looked around for even a trace of her, her towel, water bottle or anything. After searching for thirty minutes, I found nothing. 

I sighed," Dammit, why does this always have to happen? Something happens to Eren and Mikasa runs to save him, every time. Do I even exist to her?" I heard a soft voice," I love you Jean."

I grunted," Great, I'm hearing things now. I need Mikasa back." I quickly made my way through the next two training halls and found....nothing. I was walking to the field when I passed Mikasa's room.

I know Connie said he would check the rooms but since I'm here, I might as well.

I softly opened the door and closed it behind me. I saw that the room was slightly trashed, or at Mikasa's part was," Mikasa is very clean, what happened?" I tried looking for something that would show me where Mikasa would be.

I looked under her bed and found pretty much nothing...some pencils, paper, a shirt or two. I stood up as I sighed, then looked to my side and saw Mikasa's closest. I grumbled," Am I really going to go through Mikasa's closest for myself? No, this is to help her."

I opened it and saw that usual skirt that she always wore. I also saw her shirts and.....well bras. I closed it," Nothing of use in there, might as well make Mikasa's bed since I'm here." I straightened her pillow, then took hold of her blanket.

I shook it roughly and saw a piece of paper fall out, it said:

To Mikasa Ackerman:

Hey Mikasa,

I'm sorry about leaving so abruptly without telling you. I just didn't know how to tell you. You look so worried. It's been how long since we've seen each other...three no four months, I don't know. I miss you and I actually can't wait for us to see each other again. I won't tell you where I am for fear that you'll come and try to find me. I'm doing something and I have a plan but you wouldn't like it. Anyway, that's all I wanted to say. I would say where you can write to me but I can't risk anything.

I gritted my teeth as my grip on the paper intensified to the point where I started tearing it slightly," Eren, you cause nothing but trouble. Why the hell did Mikasa have to fall for you when I could've given her everything and better?"

Out of pure anger, I ripped the note in pieces. I saw the door open," Jean, why are you here and why do you look so damn angry?" My eyes widened.

Shit, I just ripped up the piece of evidence of where Mikasa could be...

Connie sat next to me," What's this?" I replied," A note from Eren." Connie gasped," The note that Mikasa got was from Eren!?" I nodded my head," I think she went to look for him...which means she's not in Paradis anymore."

Connie stood up," Then where is she!?" I lowered my head," I don't know, she could be anywhere by now. It's literally impossible for us to know." I lifted Mikasa's pillow and saw an Eren doll," Why the hell does Mikasa have this?"

Connie furrowed his eyebrows," That's a weird doll but shit, whoever made it got it spot on." I sighed, all this reminded me all a saying I heard Mikasa say once.

No matter where I am, we'll be together.
