Chapter 10

#Sasha POV#

I sighed as I say the sky darken," I should get back...searched the entire day and I haven't even heard a mention of Mikasa." I started walking to my room and saw everyone in there," What's happening? Did you guys find Mikasa?"

Armin got up from my bed and said," Mikasa isn't in Paradis anymore, she's gone-" I gave him a stern look," No, she's still here. I know she is." Jean shook his head," The letter she got was from Eren, she must've left to find him."

I punched the wall," You're lying! Mikasa is still here! She wouldn't leave without telling me! She wouldn't leave us! She promised she'd stay with us!" Connie sighed," I hate to tell you but it's true."

I gritted my teeth," Dammit, how the hell are we going to find her?" Jean had his head down," We can't, because we have no clue where she went." I looked up," Tomorrow we're leaving." Armin questioned," What? Leaving for where?"

I replied," The first ship we see, we're going to wherever it goes so we can start looking for Mikasa." Connie looked at me," But Sasha, we could be gone for days, weeks, months." I angrily said," I don't care, I'll go alone if you want."

Armin shook his head," No, I'll go with." Jean stood up," I want to find Mikasa." Connie sighed," Since we're all going, I might as well go with." I stated," If we're all going, then go get some sleep." 

Everyone left the room and I fell onto my bed, facing Mikasa's side of the room," Why did you have to leave, you stupid woman." I closed my eyes and fell into a deep sleep.

The Next Day

I asked," So is everyone ready?" Armin asked," Should we tell Levi and Hange we're leaving?" I looked at Connie," Go tell them quickly." Connie rolled his eyes," I'll be quick, wait for me." We waited five minutes for him, then started leaving.

We reached the place where the ships were and Armin gasped," The sea is so beautiful!" Jean looked across the sea," Let's just get this over with, I want to find Mikasa." We got onto the first ship and the guy asked," So where are we going today, folks?"

I replied," Wherever your first stop is please." He smiled," Lucky, our first stop is Richel Bay." Armin raised an eyebrow," Richel Bay?" The man replied," A lovely place for relaxing, some call it a resort."

Connie sighed," I hope Mikasa is there, because I really don't want to be away from home for too long." The ship started moving and Armin looked at the sea in happiness. I've never seen him so happy before.

Jean was reading some book he brought. I asked," What book is this?" He replied," It's something Mikasa and I were working on." I raised an eyebrow," Were working on?" I nodded my head," When Mikasa and I became Scouts, I ask her if she wanted to start a book with me. She said yes and we started writing it, until everything became extremely serious....we never had time to finish it."

Connie laughed," Why did she say yes!? That doesn't sound like our Mikasa." Jean sighed," I don't know why she said yes." Armin sat down still," Then again, Mikasa did read books with me when I asked her."

Connie looked down," Mikasa used to explain books about the sea and desert to me." I smiled," Looks like Mikasa was cold when we were all together, but sweet when alone." Jean turned to the next page," Exactly why I want to find her."

Armin laughed softly," You sure it's not because you love her?" Jean turned a slight red," No." A man laughed loudly," You all sure are nice together!" I looked at him," Are you talking about us?" He replied," Yes! I'd like to take a picture of you guys to show my family!"

I titled my head to the side," What's a picture?" The man pulled out a black thing," This is a camera, it's used to take pictures. Pictures preserve memories and you can see yourself on it." The man held it up to his eye," All of you stay together!"

We all moved together and smiled, not knowing what was going on. This bright light went off and I wiped my eyes," Why was the so bright?" He walked to us," Look here." He passed us something and I saw us on it!

I asked," Can you more of these!?" He replied," Yes, of course. Where do you all come from?" Jean replied," Paradis." The man smiled," My daughter lives there, anyway, would you like to take more pictures?"

We spent the rest of the time taking pictures and talking. I heard the man who we saw when we got on the ship shout," We're here!" We got off the ship and the man, whose name is Gerald, also got off.

He asked," So why did you guys decide to come here?" I replied," We're looking for a friend." Gerald smiled," It was nice hanging out with you lot, but I need to get going. I wish you luck and hope that you'll find your friend."

Jean asked," So how exactly are we supposed to find Mikasa-" Connie held his stomach," And how long will we be out?" Armin fiddled with his fingers," And how long till we go to the next place?"

I looked at them," Can you guys not just think of yourself here! Mikasa could be in trouble or dead and you guys are thinking about eating and leaving! Go home then, I'll look for her alone!" Armin hugged me," We should've been more considerate, sorry."

I shook him away," Just look for Mikasa, don't apologize to me." I glared at Connie," Let's go eat, before Connie dies." Connie looked guiltily at the floor," Sorry." After eating, we started looking for Mikasa.
