Hyunjii was more than glad to know that Jay is still the same guy whom she fell for back then . Sweet , considerate , respectful and even humble .
Why would she suddenly recall those memories , you might ask .
Well , who on earth would pick her up from school with a bouquet of roses in their hand ? Park Jongseong . Who would choose her over lunch time ? Park Jongseong .
“ Looking good for someone who just got their heart broken . ” teased Jay while gently handing the bouquet to Hyunjoo .
“ Haha , very funny Jongseong . ”
Jay went for her cheeks , pinching them for no reason , but you don't hear Hyunjoo complaining .
“ So much for someone who came with roses . ”
“ Hey ! I was just trying to welcome you into my life , again . ”
Jay's words made her smile . He's really trying to do the very best , to never let her go again .
Unlike someone we know ........
“ That's very sweet of you , but if you want to take me somewhere after school , I would have to ask for Woong's permission . ”
“ Woong? Ah! The one you're living with . ”
Well , not ONE .
“ I'll be right back , okay ? Wait for me . ” I said before putting the flower bouquet on top of Jay's car , running on a search for Woong in the school ground.
In which , he's nowhere to be seen .
Hyunjoo ran past Yuna , whom she saw walking with Ryujin from the upper class . She turned her head back , giving Yuna a thumbs up and whispering " good luck " and " she's hot " before continues to look for Woong .
“ Oh ? Mr Jeon ! ”
She found him .
“ Mr Je——”
It wasn't just Woong alone . There's another man with him , tall , doe eyes with a tattoed buff body . Bad timing for someone to make a sound , doesn't it .
Hyunjoo's shoes screeched .
“ Oh my fucking god . ” she muttered under her breath .
The two turned their heads around toward the screeching noise , but only to find nothing along the way .
“ Mmmmhm ! ” Hyunjoo had her voice muffled .
Admist almost getting caught by Woong and the mysterious man , someone showed up just in time to save her from getting seen .
Someone we knew very well .
“ What were you thinking ?! You should've dismissed yourself when you saw them ! ”
“ I didn't think that I need to , plus they were just talking , Choi Soobin . Nothing bad is going to happen . ”
Soobin scoffed upon Hyunjoo being so naive at the moment .
“ You had no idea what you almost got yourself into , Hyunjoo . ”
“ What do you mean ? That's just Mr.Jeon talking to someone I dont know . ”
“ That's the main fucking point ! You don't know who he is . ”
Hyunjoo was confused as of why , but also thinks that Soobin should just mind his goddamn business .
“ You don't need to tell me what I should be doing , Choi Soobin . I'm no longer under your care and you have a partner to take care of . Go take care of her instead of wandering around me .”
Soobin huffed in frustration , feeling the need to just stop everything they've been doing and follow his heart .
But he can't .
“ One day , you're going to realise that everything I did is for your safety . ”
“ And that day will be the day you lose me , Soobin . Keep that in your mind . ”
Walking away from Soobin , Hyunjoo accidently bumped into Jay , who has been standing there for so long . He had nothing to say , but knew damn well that he shouldn't interfere with their life .
“ Jay———”
“ Let's get you out of here , Hyunjoo . Before someone breaks your heart even more . ” said Jay before pulling Hyunjoo away from Soobin , who was shocked to see Jay again .
“ She grew up well , didn't she ? ”
