It's been about a week since I moved to my new house, and I have yet to unpack everything and explore. I've been kind of busy, you know with the moving and everything. Plus I've been really lazy to do anything about it.
I've been surviving off of takeouts these last few days, my mother would be disappointed if I didn't get any real food in me. Finally deciding to get off my lazy ass, I quickly put on some decent clothing and head downstairs for my keys. I grab them from the bowl that is sitting on the table near the front door and walk outside. The cool air hits my face and arms, making me shiver slightly from the cold. Since I'll just be heading to the store for groceries, I ignore getting my jacket.
Getting in my car I turn it on and shift the gear into reverse. Backing out the driveway, I shift the gear into drive and speed off down the road towards a grocery store I saw on my way here.
From what I saw so far, this town really love wolves, because almost everywhere I go I see pictures of wolves. In the middle of town there is actually a bronze statue of wolf with it's head back and it looks like it's howling towards the sky.
I'm going to be completely honest, I'm afraid of wolves, well actually, any carnivorous animals out there. Usually it's their big sizes and large teeth that could rip a mere human or animal to shreds that terrify me.
I turn the car towards the grocery store parking lot and park my car in the parking space nearest to the door. It's strange that the parking lot is absolutely empty aside from a few cars here and there.
I exit my car and slowly make my way towards the store. Why slowly? Because this parking lot is extremely creepy. The only way to raise the creepies factor to the max is to cue the fog and eerie music. Which I pray won't happen.
Entering the store I see that it looks almost empty of life. Strange. Just a few days ago I saw cars and people come and go from this store. What happened? Deciding to ignore the weird feeling I've been having ever since I stepped into the store, I grab a shopping cart and make my way towards the back of the store where all the frozen goods seem to be placed.

I went around the store grabbing everything I needed and headed towards the cash registration area... And there's no one there... what the absolutely fuck? Where the heck are the workers? Maybe the store is closed, no, that can't be possible, if the store was closed the doors wouldn't have opened. This is getting extremely weird. Maybe I could pull a blondie during a horror movie.
"Hello?!" I shouted. Yep, I just sealed my doom. I'm gonna die. This is number 5 of the rules of what not to do during a real life horror scene. Still, I didn't get a reply which is cool and a relief.
Alright that's it, I'm out. I quickly abandon my cart of food and exit the store like the devil himself was after me. Once I'm outside I let out a breath I've been holding. Man, too weird.
Not a second later I hear this loud howl, followed by multiple howls. They all sounded close, way too close for comfort actually. I look around me, too afraid to move. It's like my whole body decided to malfunction and not move at all. For all my body could know, I could be mauled to death soon. I look around again and boom, there, I see a figure step out of the store, followed by multiple figures. The joy of 20/20 vision. Those figures are wolves. Huge ones at that.
Holy shit, I could absolutely die today. Actually I'm surprised I didn't piss myself in fear. I'm pretty sure these wolves can also smell fear, because they all looked at me with red glowing eyes, red like blood, and growled. And boy, what a ferocious growl that is.
My body finally seemed to register that I might die, because it allowed me to take a few steps back. The bad thing is that every time I take a step a back all 5 (from what it looks like) of the wolves take a step forward towards me and barred their teeth. My, what huge teeth they have at that.
I'm going to die, I am so going to die today. The much larger wolf in the front howled loudly and charged towards me with extreme speed with the other right behind it.
You know, when people are about to die they say that they see their life flash before their eyes, well, that happed to me. I saw my whole life. My mom, my dad, my first day at preschool, on upwards to high school, and finally my graduation. It's weird, I never actually got live. I never got a chance to explore this town, or make any friends. I never got a chance to tell my parents goodbye.
What a great way to die, "Death by Wolves in Front of Grocery Store" I can actually see that as the main headline. I have accepted my fate. I close my eyes tightly and wait for the excruciating pain to come. Instead of pain I hear sounds of snarls and howls of pain. What's going on?
I slowly open my eyes and see a bunch of wolves fighting in front of my. Holy shit. I guess they must be fight over who will eat me first. This is the perfect opportunity to escape. And that's what I did, I ran to my car and drove away as fast as I could all the way back home. I quickly made my way to my house and into the master bedroom and collapsed onto my bed and cried.
I almost died today. This is why I hate wolves not just wolves, but any huge animal. Worst experience ever. It seemed like forever until I finally stopped crying. I make my way out of bed and into the bathroom to take a shower. I exit the shower and put on some Pajama bottoms, not caring that they have Buzz Lightyear on them.
I lay back down in bed and just lay there for who knows how long. I finally close my eyes and let sleep takeover me. The last thing I hear before I finally sleep is the sound of whimpering and low growls from down below me.
Author's note: Yay, I got a vote. And I finally stopped procrastinating and wrote a chapter. This chapter seems too short. Is it? I hope not. Please send me your feedback wonderful people. Oh and welcome my new follower, silver13199. Ryme out, peace.
