Ricky arrived back in LA the day after TMZ's tweet was trending on twitter. The whole world knew about the blonde girl playing his girlfriend in the music video for the song he wrote about her. He hadn't spoken to Nini since the tweet went viral, she hadn't spoken to him about it either so he assumed and hoped she hadn't seen it. He was wrong, and he knew he was wrong when the girl showed up at his door drenched and  standing in the pouring rain an hour after he arrived home. "Nini, what are you doing here?" He asked her in a slight panic. "What do you think I'm doing here, Ricky?" She asked him, obviously annoyed. "I- um... come inside please, it's pouring." He said to her, gesturing for her to come inside. "I'm fine right here. Who is she?" Nini asked, beating him to it. "She's no one Nini. She's just an actress the label hired for the video." He told her, hiding the truth. "And who's she in the music video? Your love interest? In the song you wrote about me? You didn't even tell me that's the song the video was for." Nini remarked, so angry you could probably see the steam shooting from her ears. "The label thought it would be better-" He started but she cut him off. "Your label thought it would be better for another girl to play me in your music video?" She questioned, still standing in the pouring rain. "They just think that you're... not right for my image."

He regretted it as soon as he spoke. He knew what pain this was going to cause her because he's been through it before, just in her position not in his. "Not right for your image? What the fuck does that mean?" She angrily asked. "They want me to be with someone with more experience in the industry." He looked down at his soaked shoes, not wanting to see the expression on her face. "And you're gonna listen to them?" Nini asked the boy as tears built up in her eyes. "I have to Nini! They don't listen to me! And I signed a contract, I have to do what they say!" He explained. "Ricky, you're your own person, you should be able to make your own choices." She explained to him. "This is my career, Nini, and it's important to me. I like you a lot but I can't just throw my entire career away because of some... fling." He looked up from his shoes wishing he could take back what he said and start all over but it was too late. "Some fling? Ok Ricky, I'm all caught up now I see how it is." She said turning around. "No Nini i didn't mean it like that i-" She cut him off, turning back around to face him. "No, I understand, what your label says goes right? Your career is more important than our relationship. I hope you know that your lover in the voyeur doesn't even know you, like I know you. " This time turning around and beginning to walk down the steps. "Nini, please listen to me, okay?" He called out for her but she shook her head and kept walking. "No, Ricky. I'm done listening. Good luck with your career." She spoke walking away from his apartment, down the street and out of his sight. Leaving Ricky watching her walk away with tears in his eyes.
