"Wake up!" Mum screamed at me waking me up. "Agh mum what the hell?!" I covered my eyes. "Where have you been?!" She asked angrily. "Wh-what do you mean?" "Don't make me repeat myself young lady. WHERE. HAVE. YOU. BEEN?" Ok now I was scared of her. "O-oh you mean yesterday night? Right uh, I was on a mission with dad." "What mission?" she raised her voice. "Oh y'know, the world saving stuff...getting rid of a certain insect boy in the process..." I said almost in a whisper. "You what?!" "But the mission failed anyway, don't worry, Ironman saved him on time!" I tried calming her down. "Oh god, you two are unbelievable..." "But you still looove us remember?" Later at school...
"Well my mother was scary this morning not gonna lie." I faked a smile. "Oh shush, your mother is the coolest woman I have ever seen." Haylen hitting me in the shoulder. "What? I thought I was the coolest woman." I pouted. "Oh sorry, yes, she is the coolest mum I've seen." she corrected herself. We both laughed and talked until the very end of school. You see, Haylen is my bestie since I got to this school. She is also the only one from this school that knows I have a symbiote inside me. Carnage started feeling uneasy so I had to excuse myself and left to the restroom. "What C, why are you knocking on my head like it was a door?!" "Because there's something off with your friend." "Haylen? What's with her?" "Well, a month ago she said that she has a blood cancer." "Yeaaa, and?" "At that time I really smelled the difference in her blood, I really smelled the slowly dying person. But now I smell just a healthy person." "What?" "The cancer is gone." "But how is that possible? She wasn't on chemotherapy for that long even." "So there is only one explanation to this, I know you know what I mean and I bet that you don't like the sound of that." Later on, I decided to take an evening walk. As I was passing the streets, I heard a loud crash. I peeked to see what it was, and to my surprise, it was a symbiote. But I didn't know this one, I've never seen her. She was mainly purple and black and she head long "hair" if I can even call it that, she looked dangerous.

She stepped forward to me and transformed into her normal/human form. "So it's you? You are Agony?!" I yelled as I realized who I was talking to, my dear friend Haylen. She just laughed and stepped closer. "Oh it was just a lab fail, a coincidence you could say, it's a funny story actually. So Agony escaped from a secret lab and she found her way to me. We merged, she healed my cancer and I gave her...a living place I guess?" I just looked down at what she said. "Now come on, don't look so sad, i was lucky she chose me, without her I would've died plus now we both are the same, isn't that cool? We can conquer the world together, what do you say?" Those words stuck in my mind. So it's true, Agony has her, and she also accomplished to control her mind. Then I felt Carnage wanting to transform, he was thrilled by Agony's offer. Suddenly my eyes started burning and my teeth hurting and without thinking, without even my conscience i said: "Bring it on." We both then transformed into our symbiotes and ran somewhere else.
Meanwhile at their house... Esther's POV
Mania was restless. She felt there was something wrong. We just couldn't work it out. When Danny came back home from his friend's house, my eyes shot open. "Do you sense it?" Asked Mania worried. "I-I do.." I sighed. "You don't think it's—" "I don't know, be we are about to find out." I quickly walked over to my son. "Hey sweet, can I ask you something, and please answer me honestly." "Oh-okay mum, yea whatever." he said bluntly. "Have you felt exhausted, uneasy, sick even?" "Well uhm, yea kinda, but I guess it's just the video games." "Okay honey, come with me." I urged him. "But where?" he asked frightened. "To hospital, for a checkout." "But why mum, it's probably nothing." "Yes probably, but better be safe than sorry." When we arrived at the hospital, doctors started running multiple tests, drew blood and checked him. We were the until midnight when doctors came with results. "I'm very sorry mrs Brock, but your suspicions were confirmed, your son indeed has a tumor on his brain. Unfortunately it is on a inaccessible place, so we won't be able to operate it without killing your son in the process." These words hit me like a tons of bricks. It hurt so much to hear. I haven't cried for almost 8 years but now I couldn't just take the pain anymore. My world came crashing down when I heard my baby was dying. As soon as we arrived at home I looked for Eddie. I delivered him these horrible news and we both started thinking of solutions how to save him. "Since there are not many possibilities, I think it's for the best." said Eddie. "But what if he can't handle it, what if it kills him?" I started worrying. "He's a strong boy, he will make it, he has it in genes." he placed a hand on my shoulder. "I guess it's our only option, and a last hope." I forced a small smile. "Okay V, now it's your turn, give us one of your offsprings." said Eddie as if it was a normal thing on a daily basis. "But please, choose someone...not so hyperactive, strong willed, manipulative. More like your little angel." I said, making sure to give a proper symbiote to our son. Venom cut himself on a arm and a yellow liquid crawled out of it. "This is Phage, one of my best behaving kids." said Venom as the yellow thing continued to crawl towards Danny.
