A lil time jump *and I oop* Cadence's POV Another huge thanks to Carnage for speeding up my healing. For a week now I've been getting back in shape in gym, went outside and did the fun stuff. Steve even told me that I will be soon able to join them on their missions if I wish to. And me rejoining the Avengers that is. We are now sitting in the living room. Sam and Thor watching some movie, Clint pouring himself a glass of Brandy, Tony and Bruce are in the lab and Nat just joined Clint at the minibar. And me? Well...despite of Sam calling us lovesick puppies, me and Bucky are sitting on the couch face to face, me holding him by his neck, are pecking short kisses on each other's lips. I feel butterflies in my stomach and I'm sure my face is red from the endorphins that are continually flowing into me. "Is there ever a time where you two are not on each other?" asked Clint from distance. "Is there ever a time where y'all are not jealous of our relationship?" I grinned. "No seriously guys, don't you want, like, a day off?" Sam joined in. "A day's too much." Bucky answered, and we touched by noses. "Alright, I have an idea." I faced them all. "I will go shopping with Nat and you guys make some program to keep Buck busy." I tapped the couch. "I'm in." Nat shouted from minibar. "And then all of us can go to a club in the evening." I added. "You know any nightclubs here?" Thor asked grimacing. "Yes actually, and I will take you there. Anyway see you later!" I rushed to my room to change.

I changed into these clothes and we went shopping right after.
"So what in particular are we shopping for?" Natasha asked cheerfully. "I don't know, must there be a reason other than wanting to spend time with you?" I answered nervously. "No but now that you said it like that, it is obvious there IS something there." she pulled at my arm. "Ok so first we are going to buy us some dresses for the party/ today's evening." I pointed at a shop. We were deciding on the dresses and Nat decided for a beautiful long black dress.

"And what are you going to wear?" she asked while paying for her dress. "Oh I have already chosen one. While you were trying some on, I paid for mine and decided to keep them a surprise for everyone." I smirked. "Aw c'mon." she pouted. "But don't worry, I also saw your dress and they are gorgeous." I pointed to her bag. "But there's one more thing I need to buy...but I would rather you wait for me at the compound and I finish it here." I said warily. "Why so secretive." She said huskily. I stayed silent. "Tell me at least the shop where you're going." she said. "Victoria's secret." I said quietly. "Ooo my god! It's a gift for Bucky isn't it?!" she asked excitedly. "Shhh, don't shout like that...and yes, I'm having him tonight." I half turned. "Well let me help you with it then." she caught up to me.
