What problems?

(A/N: heyoo :3 so I'm back. I know it seemed like I have abandoned this story, and to be completely honest, I was considering doing it. But then I told myself  "no, you can't leave yet another project unfinished" so although there is a HUGE time space, I decided to push myself and finish this, cuz if I had the nerve, the audacity to publish a story, I might as well complete it. I don't know how many people will read this, how many will return or remember this story.  I am very well aware that I have lost a lot of audience by quitting for so long, but I hope there are some people that will pick up this "dusty book" and bear here with me. If you are reading this, that means you are giving me a second chance and I can't be thankful enough. And well, that's it for now, I'll try to make these final chapters longer and let's dive in to the story again, see ya)

Cadence's POV:

"Hey! Who said you could be in charge now?" "I did, I'm done with you and your constant sexual intercourses." "Wow what did you just call it?" I laughed at that. "Fine, you fucking, banging. I mean what are you, superhero or fuckdoll?" "Are you slut-shaming me?!" "I said what I said, I'm not taking it back this time." "Oh yeah? Well listen, the two of us are bounded by blood if you haven't forgotten-" "How could I" he grumbled. "Don't interfere, and so that means there is no me, it's always us, so by calling me a slut you called us a slut." "Yeah, this took the worst turn it could." "I agree." I sat down. "I mean what's wrong with m— us!" "Well for starters, you've been happier lately which is unusual. You were always more of a dull and sad person." "Excuse you! I am not, but I'll let it go this time cuz I still have a lot of dopamine in me." "Okay, sad AND sassy." "You know, now I realise why you feel off these days. I've been focusing on my own pleasure way more than yours, but don't worry, I will think about something..." "No you don't have to, I got used to being tame now.." "No actually, you are a fire that can't be tamed. Come on, think about something you would like to do today, you choose today's program." "You know there's this one guy I've had my eyes on for a long time." "You are talking about Spider-Man aren't you? But he's our friend now, we can't kill him anymore." "But what if we make it look like an accident." "No, Carnage, no accidents." "Oh oh I know, I wanna go meet up with my symbiote family." "You wanna go see your father?" "No I meant my siblings and son." "Eh I mean sure why not." "Great! Now... give me the charge." "Ugh fine."

I transformed and Carnage now took the charge. He jumped out of window and headed for the ocean. We swam for 30 minutes but we've gone incredibly far. As we stepped out of the water, Carnage roared in full force. 5 minutes later we were surrounded by his family. Scream, Phage, Toxin, even Agony came. I watched as they were having a family moment. Which took a sharp turn when we sprinted off and started swinging from building to building. "Hey, I've got a great idea. What about we free Riot and teach him a lesson." Scream laughed evilly. "I think he's learned good enough when Venom fought him." said Phage. "What about we finally get that spider boy?" Toxin exclaimed. "No!" "Yes!" I screamed from inside but only Carnage's "yes" was heard. "Woohoo this is going to be so much fun." Scream flipped her long hair. I couldn't even counterpart, and we took off into the skies and the hunt for the spider-ling has begun. I just hope that the poor kid is okay and that we won't find him. But what is concerning me more is what will the Avengers think of me, what will Bucky think. Will they get back into thinking I'm a complete monster again? I can't even imagine losing one of them and their friendship just because I couldn't get my parasite under control.

"I've localised him." said Toxin which got me out of my zone-out. "Oh we're coming for you little shit." Agony snarled. "C, why are you doing this? Why did you agree on that?" I asked him carelessly since nobody else except him could hear me now. "Because I get to choose the program today remember?" "But I didn't mean this, and this wasn't even your original plan." "Look, I'm finally having fun with my squad, don't ruin this for me, it's only fair that I got some freedom now." "But do you realise the further consequences? What will others think of us. Did you even think about me when you made that decision? Hm? Did you think about how it could destroy my relationships and me as a person?" "..." "Silence, that's what I expected. You really have nothing to say now?" "Just get over yourself Cade and let me have some fun." "I can't believe you right now." "Well it's happening and I don't see any way you could stop it." When you finish with your work here let me know." I sighed.

Then we saw him. Completely unprotected and unarmed. I felt really sorry for him and for what's about to happen. Scream used her long hair to grab him by his legs and pull him into the air in a swift motion upside down. "Well well who do we have here?" she hissed at him flirtatiously and all other symbiotes laughed. "A little guy to play with." Toxin growled and bit him so roughly I could see the pain in Peter's eyes. "Carnage, you have a chance, stop this now." "Sorry, can't do, can't stand out of crowd now can I?" He was really pissing me off right now. Phage morphed his arm into a big axe and made a cut into boy's leg. This was torture, they were torturing him and I was just watching. The anger in me grew so rapidly that I didn't even notice, and I was back in charge, but I didn't change into the human form. "H-how did you do that? How did you take control and didn't change?" Carnage was left speechless. "I don't know myself, but I'm going to put a stop to this."

"Heeey! That's enough!" I yelled at them all. "Who is speaking? What happened to you Carnage?" Scream asked annoyed. "I am Cadence, Carnage's host and I'm here to stop this!" I introduced myself heroically. "And how are you going to do that?" asked Toxin. "Watch me." and with that, I stroke at all of them at once, making them fall, and quickly grabbed Peter and ran away. "Are you okay? Don't worry, I'll get you to safety." I reassured him. "Thanks for standing up for me out there." He managed to let out quietly. I only smiled in return although I don't know how terrifying it must've looked to see a symbiote smile.

We arrived at the compound and I immediately ran to med-bay. Bruce was already there working on something when I suddenly dropped a kid on his table. "What happened?!" he practically yelled from the shock. "A group of symbiotes attacked him but I stopped them at the right time. Just take care of him." and with that I left and slowly started to transform back into my human form. I bumped into Bucky in the hallway. "What are you doing here?" he asked surprised, seeing my tentacles still poking out of my back. "I saved the spider kid." I pointed to Bruce's lab. "And watcha doing here?" I crossed my arms jokingly. "I was at Tony's lab, he was fixing my arm." He chuckled. "Oh no did we break it yesterday while-" "No no, it just needed to fix a small malfunction." He giggled cutely. And I hugged him all of sudden. "Woah, what's that for?" he asked surprised but hugged back. "For existing...and being here for me." I melted at his touch. "What happened to the kid by the way?" he asked and I pulled back. "Well I'll tell you just because we promised to not lie, but know that it's not my fault." I sighed and continued. "I gave charge to Carnage and he wanted to meet his fellows, and well they all decided to have fun with Peter and I couldn't stop them, only much much later." I had my hands behind my back. "At least no one died and that's important." he patted me on the back. "Yeah you're right, I guess I can't control everything."
