"Who?" Jake asks."Eleven" She says again."what the fuck did you to him!" Jake yells.Eleven just looks at Devon.Jake continued shaking Devon."come on Dev..." He whispers.Devon lets out a groan."hey,hey it's okay" Jake says as Devon sits up."w-what the hell happened" Devon says as Jake helps him stand."who are you?"Devon says.Eleven puts out her wrist.Devon looks at her tattoo."Eleven?" Devon says .El nods her head.
BOOM,BOOM,BOOM
Screams were heard.Devon,Jake,And El ducked."Come" El says.Jake and Devon began running with El."HEY"one of the nurses yell at them.They continue running.Jake grabs onto Devon's hand and continues following El.They make it to the other side of the building.All out of breath.El stands in front of the gate."what are you doing" Devon pants.El continues staring.As blood drips down her nose the gate begins shaking.Jake grabs Devon's hand and takes some steps back.
The shaved headed girl began screaming.Like she was in pain.Her screams echoed around the whole school.
Jakes Pov
I just watch as she shakes the whole hospital.The ground begins shaking.Devon hides his head in my chest.I didn't know it was possible.But her screams got louder.I held onto Devon tighter."it's okay" I whisper.One thing I've learned is that Devon hates loud noises.
I look at the gate and notice its stretching open.Eleven puts her hands out and it continues to open.I look down and notice she's not on the ground anymore.shes floating
After it's a big whole in the fence El drops to the ground."what the fuck..". I whisper to the other boy."Devon..it's over"
Devon gets off my chest and notices El on the ground.Me and Devon walk over to her.Her nose is bleeding from both nostrils and she looks drained."Go.." She whispers."come with us" I whisper.We begin seeing people run over to us."I'll catch up" She whispers.I nod.Me and Devon run out of the gate.
We run until we reach the park.We sit on the swings.We have our normal clothes on so we don't look differently then all the other teens at the park."where do we go?" I ask Devon."I don't know..." He whispers.Devon looks like he's about to have a breakdown.He lets out a shaky breath.I get off the swing and stand infront of his.I use my thumb and lift his head up."what's wrong.." I say."that girl...she did something to my body.It hurts" Devon sniffles as tears begin running down my body."w-when She was screaming.It felt like apart of her scream went into me...that power in her voice.." Devon whispers.
Devon's pov
I feel like I'm about to faint.My body hurts."what do you mean power..." Jake whispers."you know how she opened the gate...When she was screaming.When she was screaming I felt something shoot through my body.It felt like a gunshot.." I whisper as more tears fall.I try to hold them in but it desperately hurts.I stand up with Jake.I just lay my head on his chest.He wraps his arms around me.
