After a month of boring regular missions Team 7 once again found themselves in the Hokage office. "Why do we have these low rank missions, They are too easy". Vinato complained. "Don't complain, We are only genin". Sumie told Vinato. "I'm sure we will get good missions eventually". Hakai reassured him. "Well if you're so confident then i have just the mission for you". Sarada said with a smirk. "What is it"? Nozomu asked. "You three will be a body guard and escort someone back to the land of waves". Sarada told them. "Oooh who is it? A princess? A old Shinobi? A feudal lord"? Vinato asked excited. "A bridge builder". Sarada responded and a frown formed on Vinato's face. A old man then walked in the room. "This is Inari the Bridge builder". Sarada informed all of team 7. "A bunch of brats huh. that reminds me of when my grandfather had a similar mission years ago". Inari said as he looked at the three Genin. "Why do we even have to body guard this geezer"? Vinato asked. "He is the bridge master in the land of waves. The Naruto Bridge needs serious repairs. Lots of powerful people don't want the bridge to be rebuilt because it connects to the main land and if their is no bridge then the people are essentially trapped in a trading monopoly". Sarada explained only for the Genin to barely understand.
Team 7 and Inari were traveling through the forest. Two Jonin leaped over towards the group. Sumie jumped in front of Inari with a Kunai. Nozomu made wood burst out of the ground and crush one of the Jonin. Hakai used his Jougan to send missiles at the other Jonin. Vinato stayed in place frozen in fear. "Why did you just stand there"? Sumie asked and Vinato clenched his fist. "I don't know but it won't happen again". Vinato said with a determined look on his face.
