a 𝐝𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐝 soul. a 𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐝 mind. a 𝐛𝐫𝐨𝐤𝐞𝐧 bone. that's all she was when he had first set his eyes upon her. nothing but a name and troubled suspicions. nothing but the raging anxiety of the robbery of her memories. her mind wiped to a blank slate against her will.
a 𝐬𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 star. a 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 hug. an 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 beauty. that's what she was when he had last set his eyes on her. eyes glazed with a coat of water, blurring the view of her beauty as he held her in his arms ever so tight.
druig didn't dare let go of her. he'd brought her frail head to his chest, cradling her in his arms.
his sobs bled out beyond the trees, loud gasps returning to fill the air in his lungs before he broke into more tears that sizzled against his cheeks. crimson coated fingers brushed away the strands that stuck to her face, his body trembled at touch still warm and yet, her moon eyes were a pitch midnight.
they all gathered around him now that the deviants had been either chased or killed off. sersi crouched down beside him and hesitantly placed a hand on his shoulder whilst they all gave an ear to his grief. no words were exchanged. the silence of her breaths were enough.
bruised lips wet with salty tears pressed gently against her glass skin before he'd pulled away to rest his forehead on top of hers. his body shook with his cries, fists curling at at her body in hopes if he cried enough, she would wake up again.
for that very moment, druig's burning passion of hate towards his own existence had been welcomed once again. a feeling that he had kept shoved deep in the depths of his body, distracted from it's presence by her own. he loathed the universe for constantly taking. for always playing a game that would give and then snatch away in a blink of an eye.
he hadn't expected to greet the feeling of helplessness again, but this time he did as he watched her wither away from his arms and out of this world, 𝐧𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 to meet again.

aaaa i know this was abrupt ,, but i've had to redo my entire plot because the one i had planned before just wasn't clicking. it was clicking. but no worries , i've got this one figured out !!
