💫 Chapter 02 💫

"I want to tell you that..I love you!!"
- Captain Min Yoongi -

Captain Yoongi led their way to the west as per the road map that Namjoon prepared for them. It was not a smooth way to travel. It was a thorny hilly road with some streams.

Other than anything, they had to beware of enemies guarding the forest. They continuously walked on that hard way without taking a rest. They were forbidden to talk to each other. Instead, they used sign language to communicate.

There were lots of enemy camps nearby. If their trajectory changes slightly, they may fall into the hands of enemies. They had to be more careful. Since they were the most talented seniors in their team, they almost were their destination. But...

What kind of destination was that?? Full of gun shoots, full of blood, full of painful whimpers, full of dead bodies, full of scary loud noises, full of smoke, full of fire... Their destination was that kind of very dangerous battlefield!!

Captain Yoongi took the lead.

"Heroes, let's go!!" He screamed.

They entered to the village. It used to be a joyful village before. But... Then... It was a dangerous battlefield.

They had a tactical plan for attacking the enemies. Lieutenant Jungkook and Minhoo with their troops tried to escape the civilians while Captain Yoongi and Lieutenant Jimin with their soldiers attacked the enemies.

They fought for the country. They fought for the innocent people. They fought without rest, without food, even without a drop of water. They fought until they tasted blood in their throats.

But... Their military was not enough to beat the enemies. They were losing their soldiers one by one.. some were injured so badly. But still, they managed to beat the enemies.

"Captain, we have to retreat!!" Jimin screamed while holding his injured hand.

Yoongi just untied the bandage from his wound and tied it on Jimin's wounded arm.

"Hyung!!" Jimin screamed while crying.

"Lieutenant, this is not the right time for crying. After all, you are a soldier!" Yoongi tried to comfort Jimin but the reality was, even Yoongi was in a mentally deranged.

He saw his soldiers dying one by one in front of his eyes. But still he couldn't regret his decision. He had to fight until the very end.

"Hyung! What If we died here?" Younger asked.

"We can't deny it, Jimin" Captain said back.

They stared at each other for a moment. Both felt something electric in their hearts. They might be soldiers, they might be at a battlefield at a moment.. but still... They were humans after all. They deserve to pierce their emotions even though they were on the battlefield.

Jimin was shocked because of the sudden hug from his captain. Yoongi just grabbed Jimin's arm and pulled him closer. He wrapped his arms around his wrist and turned him immediately.

Same time, Jimin heard a painful whimper. A hurtful whimper of his captain...

"Hyung!!!" He screamed loudly.

The North Korean soldier was tried to attack jimin.. but.. captain min yoongi just took the shot on behalf of the younger.

Jimin couldn't pay his attention to the enemy. He just held the elder in his arms.

"Hyung, please open your eyes please hyung just open your eyes. Don't leave me please" he cried so badly.

Captain tried to open his eyes barely. He was not fully conscious but still he heard the sobbing younger. He managed to grab the younger's cheeks and tried to wipe his tears.

"J..j..j..mi..n" he tried to speak.

"Hyung!! Say something... Please open your eyes. You can't leave me hyung you can't do that to me." Younger's sobs became a mess.

"Ch..i..m..m..y.."

"yes hyung!!"

"I.. wa..n.t.. t..o.. te..ll.. y..y..you.. th..at.."

"What is it hyung?? Please tell me!!"

"T..th..that.. I.. i.. L..o..v..e.. y..y..you J..j..ji..mi..n..!!"

Captain Min Yoongi closed his eyes.

"Hyung!!! No!!!!"

Jimin heard another gunshot. He really wished for his death at once. But... It was not for him. A North Korean soldier was laid on the cold ground with full of blood. Jimin looked up.

"Take him! Put him on my back! Just put Captain Yoongi on my back! We have to take him away!" An unfamiliar guy was screaming at him.

But younger did not have time to think. He had to save Captain Yoongi somehow. The stranger checked the pulse of the captain.

"He is still alive. We have to move him away" he said while carrying the captain on his back. Jimin just helped him.

"Let's hurry up. You are injured too. We have to retreat" he said.

Jimin nodded and ran after him. They ran through the very difficult path towards the middle of the jungle.

"Do You know the path? It might be more dangerous to run towards the middle of the jungle. There are lots of enemy camps there" Jimin mumbled while running.

"Don't worry. I know it" he said without stepping back.

"But who are you?" Younger asked surprisely.

"Jung Hoseok"

"Captain Jung Hoseok" he replied.
