💫 Chapter 10 💫

"It's okay. Everything's gonna be okay. I'm here"
- Lieutenant Jeon Jungkook-

Jungkook just arrived at the camp. He fastened his steps towards Namjoon's cabin. General Namjoon and Captain Min yoongi were discussing something serious at the moment.

They both heard the knocking sound on the door. Namjoon just walked towards the door. He already knew who it was. He knew that Jungkook never failed a mission. They were waiting for his arrival soon. It was midnight already.

There was a deep silence all around. There was a quite deep silence. It made them feel wired. Feel something scary. They felt like something scary was going to happen.

Jungkook entered the dark cabin with a tired but straight look.

"You were successful. Weren't you?" Captain Min Yoongi asked.

Jungkook smirked a bit while giving them the document. Yoongi smirked back on him.

"I knew it already kook" Namjoon said with a slight smile on his tired face.

Jungkook saluted them and tried to leave.

"Kook, can you please stay with us? We were in a secret discussion about our plans. It will be more helpful if you are here with us"

Yoongi said while staring at him. Jungkook got quite nervous after hearing it. He really wanted to go and meet someone as soon as he could. He at least wanted to see someone certain soon. His inner soul was urging him to see his face. His beautiful face.

Of course the important information was the main reason he rode his horse fastly towards the camp. But it was not the only reason for his arrival. It was something else.

"M..mm.. hyung.. actually I'm quite tired"

jungkook mumbled in a pleading eyes.

"It's okay kook. You can go now. We can talk later"

Namjoon said while tapping on his shoulders.

Jungkook fastened his steps towards the hospital. He didn't even know why he was going there in such a hurry. It was a question he could not even find an answer to.

He entered the hospital. He wished to see someone lying curled up in a familiar place.

He remembered the day that he was hugging him while he was crying in his dreams. Jungkook didn't even know why he hugged the boy. But he was crying so badly at the time. He had no time to think twice, but wrapped his arms around the sobbing man. He remembered how fast his heart was beating at the moment. But the cold lieutenant's heart melted like butter when he saw the young man fall asleep on his arms.

But today... It was totally empty! The room was totally empty!

Jungkook looked around to see a familiar face while rubbing his neck hardly. But suddenly, he turned his head back feeling a soft touch on his shoulder.

"Hyung!!" He screamed.

"Jungkookaah, Whoever you came here to see, that person is no longer here"

Seokjin said in a cracked voice while grabbing the younger by his shoulders.

"Hyung"

jungkook couldn't understand what elder was going to tell him. He was stared at the elder emotionlessly.

"He left for the east refugee camp"

Seokjin mumbled while tightening his grip on Jungkook's. Jungkook just stared at the elder for a moment.
