After Rose's WAEC, her result came out some weeks later. She had 4 A's, 3 B's & 2 C's. Indeed, her hardwork had paid-off.
On the day of her graduation ceremony the school had a small session of prayers for the graduants, refreshments, presentations and music.
Many of Rose's classmates were envious of her that day, especially Bumi because Rose had 3 good awards that she would take home that day. Not to talk of the beautiful makeup she wore that day, coupled with her hair and her dangling round earrings.
She was then applauded to give a sound speech on her journey through secondary school. Just then, she saw her mum sitting down in the crowd of parents with her dad, her granny and Aunt Jacky!
She was so excited, she left the stage and ran towards her dad to hug him, as tears rolled down her cheeks. She hadn't seen him in ages!
The crowd went crazy with applauses and cheering. It was a beautiful moment indeed.
The next day, her set had an after graduation party that they threw by the poolside in the afternoon. There, Precious approached Ross and pushed her into the pool, they both fell in!
They then hugged each other, her classmates began cheering. Bumi rolled her eyes with disgust walking away.
Swimming in the pool, Rose was laughing as she began splashing some water at Precious. He tried dodging them. So, they began swimming the the other side of the pool.
Precious raised Rose up and tossed her back into the water, playfully.
They both laughed in unison.
He then wiped her hair (the strands on her forehead) away with his fingers, smiling broadly.
"Finally, we made it Rose, I'm so grateful and happy we did." Precious said smiling.
"We sure did." Rose replied and unexpectedly, she poured him water again causing them both to scream with excitement and laughter.
They all had fun from that day until they went their separate ways for university in order to further their education.
