Chapter 1

//Hey everyone! It's been a while since I've been on WattPad and after reading this, I decided to rewrite the story!
Few things to know, I completely redesigned Maria to where she's now a princess but in this story, she's still the sister to the plumbers. The story might be mostly the same but will be different!

Maria sat alone in her house as she watches TV. She watched the news about how wonderful Mario and Peach are as the king and queen.
Maria sighs as she glances at the picture of Luigi and Mario happy for Maria as she won the smash tournament. Mario and Peach have been married for a few years now and they have a son, which they named him Mark. Luigi is married to Y/N and they have two kids, D/N and S/N. She's happy that both of her brother are happy with their wives but since then....Maria has been alone at her house. She tries to spend time with her brothers but always they're busy with their families. Maria did hang out with her friends, which is Daisy and Rosalina, but it's just not the same. Her brothers were always there for her and always made sure that she's okay, even after the smash tournament or after they defeated Bowser.

Maria sighs as she turns off the TV and then she went to the kitchen and got out two containers, which both of them have spaghetti in it. She decided to visit Mario and Luigi today, at least to see how they're doing and hopefully they can hang out with her today. Maria has doubts but it won't hurt to try, right?
Maria puts the two containers inside a basket and then she gets her basket before heading out of her house.
She walks to Luigi's house and opens the door. Y/N answered the door, holding S/N in her arms.
"Hey, Y/N. Is Luigi home?" Maria asked.
"I'm afraid not, Maria. Luigi is working right now but he won't be back home until late." Y/N said, which made Maria a bit sad. Y/N felt sad as well since she knows Maria hasn't been able to hang out with her brothers for a while.
"Well...alright. Here, I brought some spaghetti for him." Maria said as she hands Y/N the container.
"Why thank you, Maria. I'll tell Luigi that you stopped by." Y/N said, which Maria smiles a bit and nods before she leaves.

Maria then heads to the Mushroom Kingdom, which a bunch of Toads greeted her. Maria smiles a bit again and then she heads to the castle, which Toadsworth lets her in.
"Oh hello, Maria!" Peach said as she walks up to Maria, while holding Mark.

"Hey, Peach. Is Mario here? I brought some spaghetti for him." Maria asked, which Peach nods.
"He's just in his room right now. He's making sure everything is ready for the ballroom dance tonight. Are you still being able to come?" Peach said.

'Oh crap, I forgot about the dance.' Maria thinks in her head before nodding.
"Y-Yeah. At 7:30 PM, right?" She said, which Peach nods and then she takes Maria to Mario's room and then she leaves because it's feeding time for Mark.
Maria knocks on the door, which Mario opens the door but he looks kinda frustrated.

"What do you want, Maria?"
