Chapter 5

((Later at night))

King Boo is at the kitchen, just putting some dishes away. After he's done with that, he went to the living room to turn the TV off but he sees Maria sleeping on the couch. He sighed and then he smiled a bit.

He picked up Maria and carried her to her room. After he gently put her down on the bed and put the blanket over her, he can hear her light snoring which sounded adorable to him.
He leaned close to Maria and kissed her on the forehead.
"Sleep well, Maria.~" He whispered then he quietly floated out of her room and quietly closed the door.

What he didn't know is that Maria felt that kiss on her forehead and right now her face looks like a cherry.

((I'm gonna time skip to about almost a year later because honestly, I'm running out of ideas))

((Almost a year later))

Now it's been almost a year now and they still haven't found Maria yet, but they didn't give up.

They've looked around the whole Mushroom Kingdom so now they're going to checked some places kinda further away from the Kingdom.

Where there's like a little shop and there's the woods kinda close by.
After a couple of hours, Luigi and (Y/N) quickly called out for Mario.

"Bro! Come here!" Luigi called out. Mario quickly came up to them and he sees Luigi holding a old backpack and a little piece of fabric.

"I found Maria's backpack and a piece of fabric from her clothing. She has to be close by." Luigi said.

"And we can use Polterpup to sense her scent."
(Y/N) added.

((Before I continue, I just want to say that I'm very sorry for not including Polterpup in the story. Just need to say it.))

"Brilliant idea, guys! Now hurry, bring Polterpup here!" Mario said.

After they brought Polterpup, Luigi held the little fabric.

"Polterpup, do your thing." Luigi said.

Polterpup sniffed the fabric and then he started to sniff the path down to the woods. Everyone quickly followed Polterpup.

After a couple of minutes, they stopped in front of a house. Keep in mind, the house used to be all abandoned and ruined. But now it looks new and beautiful.
Polterpup stopped in front of the doorstep and barked, meaning to tell them that she's here. Then Polterpup went through the door and then he pushed the door open from the inside.
As everyone walked inside, they all were amazed about how beautiful and lovely the house looks.

As they looked around, Luigi felt a tug on his shirt.
"(Y/N), stop tugging on my shirt." Luigi said quietly.

"I'm not doing that." (Y/N) said.
Luigi was confused until he looked and sees a cute little Boo ghost just tugging on his shirt.

"Awww. Hey little fella." Luigi said then he tickled the Baby Boo's little tummy, causing the Baby Boo to giggle.
Then behind everyone, they saw about seven more Baby Boo ghosts and all of them charged at them.
But non of them at attacking or anything, they're just playing around as they laughed and giggled.

"Kids, what are you doing?" A voice asked as everyone heard someone walking down stairs.

There's Maria. She wearing a dark blue dress with black dress shoes and she's wearing a little bit of make up. Her belly is also a little bit round....is she pregnant?
Maria's eyes widened when she sees everyone here.

"G-Guys?"
