Marigold POV-
I opened my eyes to the feeling of something nudging my leg, peering down I saw Moondust. I don't know how I know that, my mind seems unnaturally empty holding only basic knowledge and small memories. Memories such as my brother; Ikaris. Moondust or moon. And my powers. And home, the beautiful Olympia, yet in a way that one didn't feel as real as the rest.
I crouched down and picked Moon up and then placed her on my shoulder as she was only in her black cat form. I finally looked around the room and saw 10 other people glancing around and beginning to talk to each other, I looked down and saw I was a beautiful purple and black suit fitting perfectly to my body, I smile slightly.
I jump as a hand is placed on my shoulder, I quickly swivel around realizing I had walked away from the wall slightly "Hello, My name is Ajak, I am a healer" she extended her hand for me to shake and I politely accepted.
"Hello, I am Marigold. And this is Moondust" I point to her "I have Telekinesis, the ability to Manipulate energy and teleport, have you seen my brother? his name is Ikaris" I questioned,
"Yes child, he is talking with Sersi over there. I am the prime eternal sent by Arishem to lead our mission to destroy all of the Deviants here on earth and protect the humans, you are one of our fighters, designed to destroy the deviants with your combat skills, now, go and speak to the others before we arrive" she smiled kindly at me I took a second to process the information she gave me before smiling lightly and nodding to her turning to Ikaris.
"Mari!" I turn my attention to the voice.
"Ikaris" I sigh in relief as he hugs me.
"Are you ready for this?" he asks.
"Yeah, I think so. Are you" He smirks.
"Always," I roll my eyes and he kisses my head
"Go make friends" I nod and he too walks away from me.
I was going to make conversation until I glanced out of the window and saw the beautiful planet we were headed towards, I strolled to the massive window mesmerized by the view. "Wow" I whispered under my breath.
"It's beautiful isn't it" I diverted my attention to the boy beside me and smiled kindly.
"Very, I'm Marigold by the way" Moon suddenly began paying attention and sniffed towards the boy and her eyes began glowing gold, I was about to tell her to stop reading the boy's mind when his eyes began glowing similarly.
"I'm Druig, That won't work I'm afraid, I am a mind reader also Moondust," he said directing his attention to moon after introducing himself,
"I'm sorry. She doesn't really have boundaries when it comes to people's minds" I glare at moon. She dismisses my gaze and transforms to her winged form, remaining small.
she flew off of my shoulder and simply said "I'm going to explore."
"Don't worry beautiful Marigold" he replied smirking, I cocked my head to the side staring into his eyes.
"They're a very similar colour you know, your eyes and earth's sea it's a wonderful colour" he looked slightly taken back but a small genuine smile took ever his lips.
I felt a breeze brush by my hair and I looked beside me, "Hi, I'm Makkari" she signed,
I smiled brightly "Hi Makkari, I'm Marigold, you're super fast I'm guessing" I signed back
"I like you already" she smiled.
"Hello, I'm druig" he spoke, I went to sign for her but she stopped me
