Druig's

Chapter 3- Babylon

I was woken up by someone poking my face, swatting their hand away I met eyes with Makkari, groaning I turned over pulling my blanket up to cover my face. 

I heard her huff and she sped off, smiling at what I thought was a success I closed my eyes. though my peace was quickly disrupted by another voice. "What? Makkari let me go" I heard druig complain.

"Oh no, I'm not having any part in this, she'll kill us both!" I uncovered my head and turned over wanting to ask what they wanted but before I could open my mouth a cold bucked of water was dumped on me, by none other than Makkari. 

Gasping I jumped out of bed "You're dead Kari!" I yelled jumping at her only to be caught at the waist by Druig, I fought against him trying to get to her, "Let go!" 

Makkari quickly signed "You have to get up! Sersi and Ikaris are getting married today, you can't miss your brother's wedding!" I stopped struggling and druig finally put me down but kept a wary arm around my waist causing a small blush on my cheeks. 

"Ok fine, I'll be out in a minute at least let me shower first" she nodded and smiled happy with my response, she started walking out and I sent a whisp of energy to trip her up, I immediately ran into my bathroom slamming the door shut and locking it before she could get up and to me. 

"Jesus Makkari you're brave messing with her in the morning" I heard druig say before they left my room completely.

We all stood watching Ikaris and Sersi finally getting married, I couldn't help but smile at the pair as I stood between Makkari and Druig, all of a sudden I felt a hand intertwine with mine and someone whisper in my ear "That will be us one day" I felt his breath on my ear sending shivers down my spine.

"What?" I said startled turning to him, he put his finger to his lips shushing me as Ajak tapped me and gave me a motherly look shutting me up. I'm still not quite sure what exactly me and Druig are, we're not together but we're also not with other people. it's strange really.
