I stood from the floor after 5 minutes realizing how ridiculous I must've looked. "Mari-" Sersi stood up.
"No it's ok I'm alright, I'm gonna go and pack a bag and we can go and get whoever is next" I smiled weakly, "Come on Moony" I called and she ran to my bedroom. I walked in a second later and picked up a duffel bag stuffing outfits for different climates in it, I heard my door click shut and I turned around meeting Ikaris' gaze. I rolled my eyes and turned back around.
"Mari, you have to talk to me eventually. I am so sorry for leaving you without warning or an explanation, I'm so sorry. But you're my little sister and we just found out that we're not completely immortal and I don't want either of us to die on bad terms so please just talk to me" he pleaded. I turned with tears brimming my eyes again.
"Why? Why did you leave?" I had been asking myself that question for 1000 years, never coming up with a reasonable answer. He sighed.
"I had to go, Marigold, I couldn't stay here, But you were so happy I couldn't make you leave, and I knew you would if you thought I was unhappy. So I left, to give you a chance at a happy life, a normal life" He explained, I looked at the floor as a tear ran down my face. I launched myself forward hugging him.
"I'm still angry with you, but I missed you" He smiled and hugged me back kissing my head. "So where are we headed to next?" I questioned going back to packing my bag.
"Australia for Thena and Gilgamesh" I perked up at this excited to see the pair. I had always shipped them but I was smart enough not to say anything, Id rather not get stabbed by Thena. especially since Ajak is gone and ill have to heal myself which I'm still new with.
I quickly finished packing a bad and we headed to the airport to Kingo's jet.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
I got changed on the jet while Kingo was trying to get footage for his documentary.
"Ahhh and this lovely lady, the mysterious, the powerful, the sister of Ikaris... Marigold!" I looked up from my book completely unimpressed at the disruption.
