AJ meats Ghost

-Jess's POV-
Billy does what her always does when that name is mentioned. To jumps behind Gertrude. "BUT MAMA GERTRUDE!!!! HE IS THE ONE WE DONT SPEAK OF!!!!!" He complains. Sally shakes her head," Billy it never has stopped them, it's still doesn't stop them, it's never will stop them!" He tugs on Gertrude's shirt.
"Go ahead," she says. "But MaMa...." Billy complains. Sally takes a gun out and shoots billy and he falls to the ground dead. I cover my mouth, covering the scream. They don't move or anything, just act normal. Billy's body disappears and then he walks in fine.
"PaPa, I'm back from the dead!" He says. We walk away and Ghost still seems normal. I stop him by grabbing his hand when we reach an empty room. He turns to me and asks," What?" I stutter," What? how? Why? But... Gun. Boom! DEAD!!!"
He smiles and says," The Acachalla's are weird. They always come back from the dead." I shake my head trying to understand. Well you really can't understand anything with that family. I nod and we open the door downstairs. "Bestie...." I say skipping down.
"Oh no, Jessica." He says closing his computer. I walk into the cold basement and see him stand up. "Are they haunted again? Or Pokemon has taken over the world?" He asks. Ghost shakes his head and then before I can explain Spencer already says it.
"I know about the war and I will help with the equipment. Only for a deal," he says. I look at Ghost and sigh," What Bestie?" I ask. "One you must stop calling me Bestie! And next is Jess must go on a date with me." He says. My eyes widen and stare at him.
"Wait... A date?! Like stuff people do when they want to become Bf, Gf?!" I shout. He nods," Exactly!" I shake my head confused," Why me?" I ask. He shrugs," I don't know. Your the nicest person I can think of." I blush but it's so dark you can't see it.
"Fine! When?" I ask. "Tomorrow," he says. I shake my head," Tomorrow is Toast's Birthday. Can't." He nods and says," Then tonight! Meet me back here in 2 hours!" He says. I nod and start walking out. I look at Ghosts and he looks sad, angry, and in pain. Not laying his eye off Spencer.
I tug on his arm a little. His glare looks down and it turns into a fake look. I can tell he seems hurt and angry. We walk up the stairs in silence. We walk out of the house and I hop in the passengers seat. Ghost comes in and turns on the engine but we don't move.
I can tell he's looking at me. "You really want to go on a date with him?" He asks. I sigh," Never in a million years. But some things call for desperate measures," I say looking at him. He lightens up a bit. We start driving," Where does AJ live?" He asks.
I look at him and say," just down the street from the market." He nods. A few minutes later after driving and direction giving, we arrive. We hop out of the van and I smile and walk up to the door. I knock and wait as AJ opens the door.
He smiles and pulls me into a hug. "Hey Nice to see you again!" He says. I pull away remembering Ghost is behind me. "You too! AJ this is one of my partners, Johnny Ghost!" I say pointing him out. AJ smiles and sticks out his hand, Ghost shakes it.
"Nice to meat you!" AJ says pulling his hand away. "Nice to meat you too," he says his voice cracking a little at too. I walk right in and Ghost follows me. "So what you need?" He asks. "Well we have this problem," I say. I explain it to him and he nods.
"What do I do?" He asks. "You and Spencer Acachalla will help with the equipment. You know for the Pokemon. And it also means that Toast will have to help you program them and show you what you need include," Ghost says. He won't make eye contact and he is acting weird.
I look at the clock," Well it's been a half-hour we have to go." I say. "Why?" AJ asks. I reply," Spencer will only help me if I go on a date with him. Ugh! I have a hour and a half to get ready." "Well Bye, but can I talk to you for a sec Ghost?" He asks.
Ghost nods and I walk outside to the van. They talk on the porch and I try to see what they are saying but all I hear is "Yeah, is it that obvious?" From Ghost. They say bye and ghost hop sin the van and we drive back to HQ.
