Me and Jess easily find the Palace. Two Guard Demons stand in the door way. One is shorter than me. Jess walks up to them," We must see the Head Demon!" She sounds brave. They nod and let us through.
They hiss and we hiss back. The spell finally wears off. When we get to a large room in the center of the palace. In a big chair sits a man in a black robe. He looks at us and hisses disrespectful," Humans!" I nod and says," Indeed we are humans," I say. "How did you come here?" He asks mockingly.
Jess stands up straight and replies," One of your demon named Kelly put us here." He suddenly laughs at us," Oh yes! I asked Kelly to bring me 2 humans!" I look at Jess who is shocked. "Why do you need us?" I ask. He says confident,"My demons may be strong but not strong enough to last long on the surface. I want you to go up and collect us 10 souls."
I look at him in surprise. "Does that mean we will need to kill..." He cuts me off," 10 people yes." Jess freezes. "In return your freedom." He points out. I look at the ceiling, or try to see the surface. "Agreed!" Jess says. "What?!" I whisper to her.
"Trix can do it!" She answers. I nod. "Excellent! I'll send you up immediately!" He says. A portal opens in front. Jess goes through first. I follow her after her. I suddenly feel like I'm being pulled up. I scream as I hit a side walk. It scrapes my whole hands.
I glare over to Jess who hands are also scratched up. I stand up with wobbly legs. It was noon and bright. We both were in one of those alleys near the market. "Pull your hoodie up, we don't want anyone recognizing you yet!" Jess orders me.
I nod and pull my hoodie over my face. Jess grabs her dagger and tenses up. She is suddenly Trix. Trix laughs at me and starts sprinting away. I try to follow her but she's fast. I also bad at chasing stuff, unless you have pizza. Trix runs out into the Market.
I try to run after her until I bump right into someone. "Sorry I'm so sorry!" I say. I mostly panic when I see it was Ghost. "Marisbel?" He asks looking at me. I freeze start running away. I can't let them find us yet.
Where the heck did Trix go?! I really hope Ghost isn't following me. "Wait!" I hear his voice from behind me. I hear a scream come from my left. I try to knock stuff over behind me in hope I'll lose him. I arrive at the ally to see three people dead. A little boy and Girl with their father. I freeze when I notice Trix is gone already.
I can't see Ghost anymore. I here two more screams. I follow them and when I alive I see the crime scene. Two young woman, their throats cut. Ok that means five souls. Wow We'll be free in no time. I listen for another four screams. It's close. I start sprinting over to the Alley next to me.
Trix was still there and she just got a family of 5. There was a baby that couldn't scream. I suddenly feel a wave of sadness flow over me. Why didn't I stop her? I couldn't have. Jess appears in front of me and sees the scene. She covers her mouth with her bloody hand.
I run over and hug her. She cries on my shoulder. "Why did I just..." She asks her self. I pat her on the back. "Ghost starts running near us. Jess gasps at him. I push her and we both start running. We suddenly appear back at the palace. "Did you get them?" The Head Demon asks. I nod and he notices Jess covered in blood.
He looks as 10 demons appear behind us. "Welcome to the UnderWorld!" He greets them. "T-those are the people?!" I ask him. He nods. I can barely keep myself together. I just pass out.
