Bella left to hang out with Jessica and the others as Eve was stuck in bed. It was one of those days where she felt like she was dying. Charlie walked in and sighed. "Eve, I'm getting you to the hospital." He tells her. "You are barley moving and I know what's wrong, but Dr. Cullen can help."

Eve didn't say much as she felt worse than the day before. Charlie sighed as he picked Eve up and carried her out of the house. She heard talking, but she couldn't comprehend who it is as she slowly fell asleep. Charlie looked at his niece and sighed. "Hold on, Eve." He tells her. "You're strong."

When Klaus got the call that Evangeline was brought in unresponsive, he panicked. He can't lose his mate knowing he made a promise. Arriving at the hospital, Charlie saw him and walked over. "They're running test." He tells him. "I went to check on her after Bella left and found her just laying there. She had a pulse, but it was very slow. I explained everything to them and they think that they over looked something."

"What the hell could they overlook? My father is her doctor..."

"Yes, but when Dr. Cullen isn't here, it's another doctor and he doesn't seem to care."

Klaus sook his head. "I could lose the love of my life all because of that bastard..."

"Klaus." They looked at Carlisle. "She's resting if you would like to see her, Charlie. I need to speak to my son."

"Did you find something else?" Charlie asked.

"Her heart was giving out. There might be a chance that she won't make it much longer." He said causing Charlie to close his eyes with tears.

"Please do something." He begged. "I can't lose her. She's like my daughter and she has yet to start her life. So, please, do something, Dr. Cullen."

"Let me speak to my son first and I'll see what I can do."

Charlie nodded as he walked away. Klaus looked at Carlisle. "Please do something. Anything to save her." He begged. "I can't lose her too."

"I'm giving you an option. Do you want to wait to see how she does before the end of the week or go on ahead and turn her?"

Klaus looked at Carlisle. He has an option, but he can't take Evangeline away from Charlie. If there was another way to turn her, but keep her around Charlie. "Let's wait." He said. "If my love turns for the worst, I'll turn her and I'll work with her because I'll be damned if I take her away from the only father figure she has."

"Okay. We will work with Eve if it comes to that point, but right now, she needs you now more than ever."

Klaus nodded as he walked away. Carlisle sighed as he knew that this day was coming and fast. Sooner or later, Evangeline Swan will be turned and hopefully they are there to turn her.
