Evangeline was not looking forward to her second day of school. She hated the sympathy looks. All she asks for is to move forward instead of being in the spot she's in now. Walking to her closet, she grabbed her outfit for the day and started to get dressed. Charlie saw her and smiled. "How are feeling, Eve?"

"Safe." She tells him as she walked over and hugged him. "I'm going to get dressed, but thank you for bringing me home."

"I will tell you this like I told you before. You are like my daughter and I will always help keep you safe." Charlie tells her. "Why don't you finish getting ready and I'll take you to get breakfast."

Evangeline smiled as she left to get dressed.

Klaus stood by his car talking to Jasper when Evangeline arrived. Jasper nodded his head towards the Swan girl. Klaus walked over with Jasper as Jasper wanted to see if he could control himself. "Eve." Evangeline turned and smiled. "I want you to meet my brother Jasper."

"Hello Jasper."

"Hello, Evangeline."

Evangeline smiled as the bell rang. "If it's fine with you, I would also like to know your brother some more."

"I think that is a good idea." Klaus said as they walked off.

Evangeline listened to Jasper and knew he was mistaken for the pain look. She grabbed his hand with a smile. "Jasper, whatever you are afraid of, just know that you are strong. Stronger than most people here and if someone has something bad to say about you, I will prove them wrong."

Jasper didn't know what to say, but hug Evangeline. His own family besides Klaus never thought that of him. "Thank you, Evangeline."

Alice smiled as she walked over and knew she needed to give her mate more credit.

Klaus watched as Evangeline talked to his family. She understood Jasper and knew that soon she will know. Jasper walked over with Alice as Evangeline spoke to Rosalie, Emmett, and Edward. "She's important to us." Jasper tells him.

"Yeah." Klaus replies as he watched her. "She became this families light."

"That she has." Alice said as she looked at Jasper. "I should have seen Jasper as the strong person he is."

Klaus smiled at them as he looked back at his mate. Evangeline looked at him and smiled as she had friends and someone she could see herself falling for. Her life was complete with Klaus there.
