Chapter 23

Alex POV

I couldn't believe where Rick had taken the three of us but, I couldn't believe that he even thought of this sort of date. We've not seen each other in over a year and I get he wants to try but this is just amazing, it's like he could read my mind and what I wanted to do or what my dream date was.
   He had drove us to a really fancy restaurant where we all sat down and the service was lovely and we had our drinks and food, everyone couldn't stop making a fuss or River. He will eventually be the next Alpha of this pack but even the humans couldn't stop saying how gorgeous he was and how much he looked like the both of us and not just Rick or Myself.
   But. And that's a big BUT. After the restaurant I thought he was driving us home and he pulled off into a random field just before the pack lands, it was pitch black and I honestly thought something was wrong. Then all of a sudden there was a bright like and this massive screen came on with one of my favourite movies ever. He'd planned a night under the stars in the truck watching my favourite movie with River and him. I wondered why he had took the pick up truck for the date. As soon as the titles started playing he got out of the truck, pulled the tow down and laid out all the quilts and pillows and he even brought a onesie and coat for River to wear as it was getting cold out. Don't get me wrong River was soon fast asleep after about 10 minutes of the film starting.
   I just sat there watching Rick who was looking at River, the way his eyes softened and the love and care that was just pouring out of his eyes. He's only known about River for a couple of days and he's already acting like the father he should of been. I can really feel the mate bound as I'm sat here, the film playing, Rick making a fuss of River and just seeing all those emotions through his eyes.
   However, I am worried for in a couple of days as it's the full moon and our senses are more intense and uncontrollable. The older generations of wolves are okay but us younger ones, we're hormonal pieces of shit that can't control anything if we wanted too. Im pretty sure that's how we made River in the first place.
   "What's got you thinking?" Rick asked now looking up at me.
   "Just thinking about the full moon and what's going to happen." I said looking back up at the moon and stars above us, the clear night sky making it perfect.
   "I know what's gonna happen. Im gonna bend you over that bed and make my claim like I was supposed to last year but this time I'm not scared to show you off. Im gonna keep going till I know there's another baby in you as I don't want to miss the next one. Do you understand me." Rick stated matter of factly. I was so turned on and couldn't look away from him, I've never seen him this bossy and I loved it. I could tell it was his wolf speaking and I just couldn't stop looking into his eyes.
   "Yes." I just whispered while Rick leaned over River and gave me a harsh and forceful kiss, it was like he knew what I wanted but he was saving it for the full moon.
   "Good now watch the movie cause when we get back, I just want to get into bed with my MATE and cuddle till tomorrow morning." He laughed and he looked at my shocked face. How did this man just go from I'm gonna fuck you so hard your gonna be calling me daddy, to I'll bring him home my 6 o'clock and now later. This man confuses the living shit out of me but I wouldn't change him.
