Tay's life is 200% messed up. He lost his parents at a young age. His Mother died when he was at 4 due to colon cancer, while the Father was killed by the police during a drug raid operation when he was 16. He was adopted by his Father's brother, who never treated him as a family and required him to put food on the table every single day or else, he'll beat him until he's tired.
With that being said, he started doing things he promised himself not to ever try. He started doing illegal tough jobs, like being in an underground boxing competition, sleeping with someone who has the ability to pay him a huge amount, or even selling something he promised himself not to be involved with, drugs. Any job that gives him money, he'll grab it.
He is often labeled as the school's "bad news" for having a strong persona. He's rude, aloof, and quiet, and you can't really touch him because he is with the unwanted circle. He was forced to be in the wrong crowd because he knows the rule, if you want to avoid being their target, you have to be part of them. He should thank all the illegal boxing jobs he did in the past, which taught him to be strong and helped him build his ideal body, reasons why it wasn't hard for him to be part of them.
If you're wondering if he's tired of living? He definitely is. Some proofs are the multiple cuts he has on his wrist. He wished to die, but death maybe doesn't want him for now. His most recent suicide attempt happened in the campus, after a professor humiliated him in front of the whole class for using the death of his Father as an example for their topic about drugs. The professor said that his Father was the kind of person that everyone should stay away from if they wanted their life to be better. Tay's tired of hearing that.
He found himself standing on the rooftop with just one thing in mind, to end being placed through the wringer and just jump off the building. It didn't even take him 30 minutes to decide and when he found himself at the edge, he knew he was very willing to do it right then and there. He closed his eyes as he tried to remember the face of his Mother, the person he wanted to meet again the most, the only person who showed him love and perfection.
"I'll be with you shortly, Mom. We'll be together again"
He whispered as a tear escaped from his closed eye. He breathed deeply as he let his body move to itself and anticipated the impact of the fall, when instead, he felt arms tightly wrapped around his waist and pulled him off the edge. Both of them fell on the ground of the rooftop followed by multiple curses, which Tay is sure that is not from his mouth.
"Fuck! What the hell is wrong with you asshole!"
A man who has a toned body, white skin and a beautiful face yelled at him. He watched him stand up, and paced back and forth on the rooftop with his left hand on his waist and right hand brushing his hair aggressively. He looks worried, exhausted and obviously in a state of panic.
"Do you even know what you are doing?"
He asked, pointing at Tay.
"God! I almost lost you!"
The man who looks like a vampire said to him. Tay sighed in disappointment. He stood up and brushed the dust from his pants and hands before attempting to leave, but the unknown man pulled him by his arm.
"Are you just going to leave like that?"
He asked in disbelief. Tay stared at the man's face and saw the mole who is sitting adorably on top of his nose, Tay fought the urge to smile. That might be the cutest thing he sees on earth after a very long time. It reminds him of her mother who has multiple moles around her face.
Instead of answering him, Tay just shrugged his hand off from his arm, gave him a last look and left. That was the first time he met New.
He found out that New is the newest student that everyone talks about in the campus because of being the president's son. Many people don't understand why he chose to study at a public university when his parents can definitely afford the fees in the most prestigious universities in town, but Tay somehow understands.
