Pink Suits

"Get up, Tay! You'll be late for the show"

New calls Tay when he enters the older man's room.

"Can I just skip it? I'm tired from the event earlier. I need sleep"

"Lazada paid you a large amount of money just to have you as their endorser. Stop slacking off and do your job!"

"They'll just tease me"

Says Tay before sitting up. When New turned his head to look at the man, he saw him pouting, head hanging low.

"What do you mean?"

"Our fans are making fun of me because I'm alone on that event while Off's with Gun, Bilkin is with PP and then there's BrightWin"

He even stomps his feet as he says those words. New can't help but smile at his boyfriend's cuteness, and feel guilty at the same time.

New withdrew to the said brand because they wanted to try working separately for their careers as well. They both know that they can't work together as a pair forever, and a day will come that they indeed have to be on separate projects. They need to be ready when that time comes and have to grow their individual careers for the future. Their future.

"Aww my baby"

New said, mirroring Tay's pout. He sat beside Tay, giving him a side hug.

"My baby's sulking because he feels alone?"

"I am not"

"Psh"

New smirks at him before letting him go.

Tay crossed his arm in front of his chest and faced New.

"I don't feel alone, okay? I have you"

That statement made New smile wider. He loves hearing such words from Tay. It made him feel that they indeed belong to each other.

"I just don't like it when people think that I am sad because I am now alone for that brand since you're no longer there, unlike last year"

New suddenly don't know what to say. As much as Tay wants to hide it, he knows that his boyfriend is really affected by the change when it comes to their set up.

"Don't get me wrong, Hin. I understand you. It makes me a little sad not being able to work with you as often as before, but we both decided to choose this path. It's for the better, for our future. I— I just don't want them to think of it  negatively because I have you. I still have you, all the time"

New encircled his arm around Tay's neck and inches closer to the older man. He stares at Tay's eyes, one of his favorite parts of Tay's body because it's so expressive. He can confirm how much Tay's in love with him by just looking at his eyes.

"I love you"

New said, the pout on Tay's lips slowly disappeared and was replaced with a smile.

"I may not be on the poster with you, nor in the event, but I'll always be here"

New pointed Tay's heart.

"And you're always in here"

He pointed to his own.

"We are in each other's heart all the time, right?"

Tay nodded and leaned in to New to give him a gentle and long peck on the lips.

"You tasted like strawberry"

"It's the cake I ate earlier"

"Well cakes never tasted this good until I tasted it from your mouth"

Tay said, which made New blush. He can't believe that the man's old pickup lines can still make him blush like a teenager.

"You're annoying"

He said as he slightly slapped Tay's arm before standing up to go to Tay's closet.

"Well, you love this annoying human"

Tay said and followed him. He stood behind New and hugged him from the back.

"Can't I stay in here?"

He asked cutely as he rested his chin on Tay's shoulder. New clicked his tongue.

"Here. Wear this"

New said, passing the perfect pair of pink suits he got from Tay's closet.

"Why this?"

Tay asked with furrowed eyebrows. He releases New to get the suit from the younger man.

"To let them know that even if I am not there with you, you still have me"

Tay smiles.

"Pink is my favorite. Every polca knows that it's my color"

Tay's eyes become wider as he watches his boyfriend. He's too glad to have New by his side, even if people are not aware about it. They're content with the fact that they have each other, on and off cam.

"I love you, Hin"

He said. New smiles at him.

"I love you too. Now, hurry. You'll be late for the event. I'll drive you there"

New said, slapping Tay's butt before running away.

"Hey, that hurts! You'll pay for it once I get home later"

Tay said, but New just sticks his tongue out at him before leaving him in the room. Tay laughs and shakes his head. He's happy. Damn happy.
