"Are you trying to act like a duck or what?"
Off remarked. He can't stand seeing his best friend sulking in front of him.
"You're making me lose my appetite, peng"
He added. Gun, his boyfriend, just chuckled. He slightly elbowed Off's waist to stop him.
"Why are you even acting like that? Did something happen?"
Off asked, his tone now sounds concerned. Well, he is. Tay is usually jolly, and he never had no appetite with food, unlike today. He didn't even take a bite. He just kept on playing with his salad using the fork.
"Isn't it obvious? He's jealous"
Gun said when Tay refused to talk. He suddenly stopped moving the fork, which confirmed Gun's suspicions. Off raised his brows and gave Tay a questioning look.
"Are you jealous of me and my baby?"
Off suddenly asked, which earned him a kick from Gun.
"I don't really know why I fell for you"
Gun said, rolling his eyes. Off just gave him a sweet eye smile before turning into Tay.
"So, who are you jealous of?"
Instead of answering, Tay stood up and grabbed his bag, ready to leave.
"Really feeling under the weather today. I think I better go home"
"Huh? Wait-"
Off wasn't able to finish his protest when New arrived, a wide grin on his face.
"Hey! I'm hungry. Are you done eating?"
New asked before looking at Tay. His eyebrows furrowed when he noticed his best friend's already wearing his bag. The man didn't even smile at him, very far from his usual aura.
"Are you already leaving?"
New asked then eyed Tay's plate.
"You aren't done eating"
"Just eat that if you want. It's clean. I have to go"
Tay said before leaving. New along with Off concernedly watched him retreat, while Gun shook his head.

"Tay's been out for two days, didn't he contact you?"
Off asked New. He then looked at the empty chair beside him, Tay's chair.
"He's not replying to my messages"
Off said before pouting.
"He replied to mine"
Both New and Off looked at Gun. The smaller one just raises his brow as if it isn't a big deal.
"What? How come he'll reply to you and not to my messages. I think I already messaged him 20 times! I even tried calling him, but he kept rejecting it. Did he also reply to you, New?"
New just shook his head.
"Well, he told me he's fine and just wanted some rest"
"Is he sick?"
New asked, voice is full of concern. Gun looks at him for a moment before answering.

Tay didn't expect to see the last person he wanted to meet, standing in front of his door, waiting. When he sees him, he instantly flashes him a smile. Tay doesn't have any choice, but to return it.
