"And remember that one night in college? I told you it's always my dream to experience camping. I want to know the feeling of sitting in front of a bonfire with hot chocolate in my hand."

New said happily before reaching for my hand under the table, giving me the most comforting smile.

"After a week at 1am, you called and told me you're waiting outside our gate. You asked me to bring a blanket and a spare shirt. When I arrived in your car, I saw all the things you bought. My eyes lit up when I saw the tent and the other things we needed for camping. I never asked you to make my dreams come true but you did.

He said while squeezing my hand. His eyes glitters, he's happy with the memories. I placed my other hand on top of his, giving it small taps before letting him go to ask him to keep on eating and he followed. I watch him for quite some time before looking away, meeting Off's eyes who is sitting in front of me, beside Gun. An unsure and forceful smile is on his face. I gave him a nod, telling him that everything is okay.

"We should do that again, Te. Let's go camping again with Gun and Off. What do you guys think?"

New asked and Gun looks at me worried before looking back at New.

"Aren't we too busy and old for that, Newwiee?"

Gun asked. I saw Off's hand holding Guns.

"Of course not! We can always do the things we did when we were in college. Age is just a number, Gun! Besides, we can do it on weekends. What do you think, Te?"

New asked, looking at me. His eyes' full of hope. I gulp and stare at him for a moment before nodding and giving him an awkward smile. He pulled me into a hug after, thanking me for agreeing. The rest of the night went blurry. All I know is, New excitedly planned thr camping day next weekend for the four of us.

"Peng, are you really sure about this? You know you can always say no. Gun and I will accompany him instead"

Off, my best friend asked for the last time. It's Saturday and we're about to leave for the camping. Off and I even fought during the weekdays. He refused to talk to me after the dinner last Monday when I agreed on New about camping. He told me, I should stop and not tolerate all the things that New wanted but I can't help it. I am just thankful that he's back here with me so I want to do all the things that can make him happy. That's the only thing I can do for now to make sure that he'll stay here with me.

"Are you ready?"

New asked, excitement is very visible in his voice.

"New, can—"

I cut Off's word by tapping his shoulder and gave New a sweet smile.

"We're ready, Hin. Let's go?"

I asked and he smiled and nodded before getting inside the car.

"I'll take care. You're there to save me anyway"

I whispered to Off, giving him a teasing smile to ease the tension before getting inside the car. I know he's not convinced that I'll be fine, even though I know that it's impossible to happen but for New, I am willing to try.

As we're nearing the place, my heart started beating abnormally. And I have to keep my eyes close to calm myself. Off's driving while Gun's sitting beside him. New on the other hand is busy watching the view outside the window, a wide smile is visible on his face.

Gun looked at me through the mirror and I gave him a smile before closing my eyes again. I am okay. I have to be okay. I chant inside my head.

"We've arrived"
