Sans could feel someone shaking him gently. He groaned, keeping his eyes closed as he rolled.

"Mmmhh, 5 more minutes Paps...:"

"...I'm sorry, I'm not "Paps"..." A voice said, Sans' eye sockets opening and widening as he realized that it wasn't his brother waking him up. He looked up, quickly moving to get away from the stranger, analyzing them. She was some sort of monster, a goat one, her outfit purple and almost formal looking.

"Oh I'm so sorry, I don't mean to startle you!" She reached towards him and offered her hand, Sans staring between her and her hand.

"...Who are you?" The skeleton moved to get up on his own, only then looking at his clothes. They were different, and while it seemed that his hoodie was still there, it had longer sleeves and the hood didn't have any of its fluff. His armor was gone, and he was wearing some shorts, slippers where his boots were. "...What happed to my clothes?"

"What do you mean?... I found you here just now" She pulled back her hand when Sans didn't take it, Sans tilting his head as he got up.

"That's strange..." He rubbed his head, looking around the area now. The walls were a light yellow, and nothing else noteworthy was in the halls other than several doors, with the only door that seems to be the way out behind the monster.

"I'm Toriel by the way... What's your name? I have never seen you before."

"Oh uh...the name is Sans. Where am I exactly?..."

"You're at the school... you don't remember coming in here?" Toriel tilted her head, Sans thinking for a moment. When did he come here? The last thing he remembered was...the fountain. Does she know about it?

"Hm, I don't actually...sorry, I should head out now-" He goes to quickly walk past Toriel, the latter quickly stopping him.

"Wait a moment. I don't think you should leave." She narrowed her eyes at him, Sans looking up at her. "At least, not by yourself."

Sans wasn't sure if the woman was a threat. But he can't know for sure for the time being, and he was in an unfamiliar area. It may be best to see where we go and keep my guard up, he thought. Pretend he's on her side for the time being. "...Yeah, sure." He responded. Toriel nodded, leading Sans out and through the doors.

Sans quickly shut his sockets at the light, lifting an arm to block the light out of his eyes. He opened them slowly, trying to figure out what was causing such brightness.

"Oh my, are you alright?" Toriel grabbed onto Sans' shoulder, concerned, the latter slowly looking up at her, squinting.

"I'm fine, it's just bright... What's causing so much light?" He tried to move his arm away, quickly putting it back to where it was when he couldn't handle the light immediately.

"What do you mean? The sun?"

"The....the what?" Sans heard about the sun, but the Dark World never had one. The only place that he knew had sun was the-

Lightner Realm. He was in the Lightner Realm.

He moved his arm again, more slowly this time as he tried to adjust, the sun high in the blue sky. He stared at what he could in his new surroundings. The grass was green, the path was a brownish color, the trees the same color. It looked so different from the Darkener Realm, but at the same time didn't. The colors were so much warmer. It felt warmer, so much warmer than the Darkner Realm was. Sans almost lost himself in it if Toriel didn't shake him lightly.

"Sans? Are you sure you're alright?..." Her voice was filled with concern, Sans looking up at her when he snapped out of it.

"Oh um, yeah, I'm fine, don't worry, just uh...taking it in." He looked back out, the wind softly blowing past.

"Alright...you're new, I'm assuming?"

"..I am actually."
"Then maybe I can show you around a bit? Give you a tour." She softly smiled, Sans taking a moment to consider. If he was in the Lightner Realm, then maybe she could be one of the heroes?... Is it possible?

"Yeah, sure, better than aimlessly walking around." He gave a small smile up at her, Toriel giving a small giggle.

"Yes, anything is better than that I'd imagine."
