. . .

"I'm not going to prepare." Hanbin imitated Jennie making the latter pout in annoyance and roll her eyes to the guy.

"Can you please stop it." She exclaimed almost done with all of the teasing Kim Hanbin has been doing.

Her mom sent a make up artist and a stylist for her which made everything go on the way Jennie doesn't want. She was just startled when a tall girl on her early 30's introduced herself as a stylist and a not-really-a-guy as a make up artist with her.

A more of plot twist also happened when Jennie insisted that she can fix herself but the two just dragged her on her room and ended up having a red lipstick on her plump lips.

"C'mon you said it yourself that your not going to prepare. What's with the all red theme?" He asked to Jennie who's fuming now because of his non-stop blabbering about her look.

"Can you reduce the shade of the red? Make it more natural and the inner part of the lips redder than the outer. Do you get what I mean?" Jennie requested to the make up artist which he nodded to and followed.

It wasn't like she's not into red but Jennie doesn't really like wearing makeup so she'd always go with the light one.

"Oh, I almost forgot. Your not going?" Jennie asked curiously to the Hanbin. His family owns a construction company and earns billion a year and even constructs a public structure every year in Korea as a charity.

"I'm not in the mood for some fairy tales." He shortly replied.

"Balls doesn't always relates with fairy tales." Jennie disagreed to him which started a new argument between the two friends.

"It is, ball rooms, dances, ball gowns--"

"It's not gowns. Just dresses." Jennie cut him off. "It's just the same." He argued.

"No, it's not. It has a VERY big difference." She fought that made the guy roll his eyes on her.

"I'm not going because I have to do something with Bobby later." He changed the topic knowing that Jennie won't let the argument be finished without her winning it.

"It's more important than accompanying your parents on the ball?" She questioned which her replied with a nod.

"I don't believe you, your probably going on a club and search for some chick."

"Nope. Bobby is in a serious relationship with his girlfriend. That guy is already committed." He said that made Jennie look up at him.

"It's already 5:30 please change now." The stylist cut their conversation as she handed a red dress to Jennie and guided her to her bathroom.

The dress fitted and hugged her body perfectly as if the dress was made especially for her. Her white and smooth skin blends well with the red lace dress that will probably take attention later on the event.

Sighing deeply, Jennie went out of the bathroom and went on the full body mirror to observed herself at the mirror. She looks undeniably pretty and yeah, sexy with the short dress.

"Oh la la~ I don't have to go to the club just to see a chick." Hanbin playfully said making the other two on the room chuckle.

Jennie just kicked his legs as she utter some curses under her breath. "Shut up you fucker." She cursed playfully.

If it weren't for her mom's request, she's not going to do this. She's not against on sending her abroad but either way, to the idea of studying medicine further. She already suffered on waking up every six in the morning and dealing with corpse in practicing surgeries.

"I'm not kidding. You really look pretty." Hanbin said seriously so Jennie just nodded and turned around as she observe herself in the mirror.

"You're right." Jennie finally agreed living a satisfied smirk on Hanbin's lips. "If I just know that you'll look pretty after being dressed I should've brought you with me in the seniors prom in college so that your ex-boyfriend would realize what he wasted."

"Your still not over to that jerk?" Jennie asked as Hanbin has been mentioning her past relationship a lot on the past few hours.

"Who wouldn't when I saw him last week." He replied obviously pissed based on hos tone. "You saw him?"

"A chauffeur-driven limousine is already waiting outside, it's time to go." The stylist again cut their conversation for the second time but Jennie can't do anything about that because she's just following orders.

"Ok." She shortly replies as she stood up but then stopped as Hanbin held her wrist. "Your going there wearing a bunny slippers?"

Jennie then looked down and realized that she haven't changed into her heels. The then stylist then took a black stiletto heels and helped her wear it. Jennie stood taller than usual but almost stumbled as she walk on the carpeted floor.

"Are you sure your going to wear that heels?" Hanbin asked worried that she might trip in the middled of the crowd. "I can manage." She shortly replied and gave him an assuring smile.

The whole ride was full of silence except for the cars and roaring vehicle on the road. The night life in Seoul is starting to glow as the sun already sets, tall buildings lighting up the sky together with the crescent moon.

She keeps on fiddling on her fingers on the whole ride as nervous isn't enough to describe what she's been feeling right now, it feels like an unwanted feeling of being in danger was creeping on her mind but she shrugged it off as the place of the event came infront of her.

She has arrived.
