. . .

Jennie abruptly stood from her bed after remembering what she and her mother had talked about yesterday and even covered herself with the blanket when she saw a maniquen standing a few meters a way from her bed who wears the dress her mom wanted her to wear.

Sighing deeply, Jennie pushed herself to stand up and made her way to the bathroom and do her morning routine. As she come down the stairs, another one made her back off from stepping and hold her chest as she saw her father waiting for her at the couch, looking at her intently.

"Wh-Why are you there?? Wait. Did I do anything wrong?" Jennie asked still stiffed at her position, afraid on whatever her dad has in mind.

"Your mom said your coming with us tonight. Is that right?" He asked making Jennie nod repeatedly and support her mother's statement.

"Of course! Is there any reason for me not to come with you?" Jennie argued to make her father realize that she's following his orders and won't do something that will make her be sent abroad.

"Nothing. Maybe because the result the licensure exam will come out today and your afraid that you might fail and put shame on our name." Her father stated making Jennie tighten her grip on the stair's railings and control her emotions.

"I- I did my best, you can expect an excellent result later." She replied and forced a smile before going down, and made her way to the kitchen.

Slowly taking a glass, Jennie's shaking hands reached out for the pitcher and pour herself a glass of water. Tears filled her eyes and fall freely on her cheeks as she drank the water trying to calm herself down.

"It's ok, it wasn't that hard, studied well for it." She said to herself in a comforting manner.

She indeed did her best but her father's words made her woke up and have fears especially if she's indeed going to fail. She's confident because she's one of the top student in SNU so surely she can nail it.

Jennie then felt a hand tapping her shoulder making her grip on the glass loosen making it fall, shattering into pieces.

"Shit! Jen. I'm sorry did I startle you?" The familiar voice made Jennie look up and be met by the worried look of her friend.

"It's my fault, I'm careless." Jennie replied as she crouched down and tried to pick-up the big pieces of the glass but soon stoped as he held her wrist tightly to stop her from harming herself.

"Your out of your mind Jennie-- wait let rephrase that, your not thinking straight let me clean this while you, sit at that chair." He commanded pointing his finger on the kitchen counter where the chair is located.

Jennie hesitantly looked at him but soon stood up and followed his command.

"Thank you Hanbin." Jennie said which he replied with a smile. He then stood up and putted the broken pieces of the glass on the trashcan to prevent further damage.

"Stop worrying about the result ok? Your the smartest girl that I know so you can surely pass the exam, mmh?" He said as he sat infront of her, handing her a another glass of water.

"We can't be sure about that."

"Yes, we can. I'm dumber than you, you know? " He slightly joked to remove the worries on Jennie. "Your not dumb." Jennie corrected that made him chuckle and raised her hands in defeat.

"I don't want to argue with you because I'm surely gonna win. And you won't like that." He bragged that made Jennie roll her eyes and throw a roll of tissue on him.

"Your mom said that you have to prepare at 5 pm and then you'll leave the house at 6 pm." Hanbin reminded her Jennie smile tightly and nod her head taking note the details he just said.

"You should be excited, who knows you might find a handsome and rich guy there. " Jennie rolled her eyes again for the second time with Hanbin's statement.

"What? You should get a boyfriend soon. You're getting older and it's been years after your last break up." She just shook her head disagreeing with what he said.

"My dad will send to America anytime. He's just waiting for me to do something wrong. So getting a boyfriend is the last thing I'm going to think of. Additionally no ones gonna like a busy girl like me who's always in trouble."

And having a boyfriend must be one of the things her father might control too.

"Just be patient. There's always somebody out there so you should prepare." He added displaying the smile that light up the mood as it also made Jennie smile a bit and turn into a serious one.

" Whatever, I'm not going to prepare."
