"$1 000 000."

Everyone was agape with what they heard even the mc wasn't able to process what he heard but with the silence, he cleared his throat and started speaking.

"Going once, going twice, $1 000 000 from Mr. Kim!" Every people in the room cheered and talked about the huge amount.

Jennie was still processing everything when her mom called her to go down the stage which she gladly followed. As soon as she got down, her mom engulfed her on a tight and warm hug as she whisper sweet words on her.

"I'm so proud of you, I know you can do it." Her mom said as her voice cracked making Jennie chuckle a bit and pat her mom's back.

"Thank you, you encourage me a lot that's why I made it."

Her mom pulled out from the hug and stared lovingly on her daughter. No words can explain on how grateful and proud she is on the lady in front of her who's just a small baby from what she remembered.

"I believe you own a guy a dance. I can't believe someone spent a million dollars just to be with my daughter." Her mom playfully stated as she fix Jennie's hair and put her mask on.

"I'm always proud on anything you do. Win or lose, your my daughter and I love you." She stated that made Jennie's tears fall which she wiped immediately afraid that it might ruin her make up.

"Hey." Her father greeted to the two woman he loves the most and gave them a kiss on the head which was the sweetest scene that every people in the room had seen.

"As much as I want us to spend time with our daughter, she needs to go." He stated which made her wife tear up.

"Relax, she's not getting married, it's just a dance." He comforted his wife and held her by the waist.

"Well, it felt like it so let me be."

Jennie felt the love between her father and her mother making her tear up again, but this time, it's her who wiped it away and chose to exit the scene since it's time for them to spent the night together in a romantic way.

"I think you owe me a dance." The deep voice made Jennie look up and was met by a beautiful stranger covered with a black mask. She look at his face and then on his hands which she gladly held as they made their way in the middle.

His hands we're big compared to her small hands and callused that felt good on her soft one. They stoped in the middle and faced each other, soon some people also went on the dance floor.

Jennie is honestly hesitating on what to do next now that she's facing him. Do I put both of my hands on his shoulders? Or the right hand only?

Her thoughts we're cut off as she felt his hands holding into her's while the other is now on her waist. He put her hands up and put it on his shoulder guiding her on the right thing to do.

"Why did you put your mask back?" His voice was low and dark. It made Jennie's breath hitch and look up at him as he's a lot more taller compared to her small height.

"My mom putted it back." Her voice went out small, soft and gentle that made the stranger smile a little on her timid response .

"Can I remove this?" He asked which Jennie nodded in response since she's to uncomfortable to respond. The feeling was new, considering that it's her first encounter with a man who's not a close friend but a stranger who showed an affection towards her.

"Why though?" She asked curiously after he removed the mask letting it fall on the tiled floor. "I want them to see on who's the prettiest woman in this room."

Jennie can feel her cheeks heat up with the sudden compliment that's why she look sideways to avoid his stares.

"There's a lot more prettier here. It's absolutely not me." It wasn't that she's not confident, and thinks that she's not pretty, but she doesn't want to brag about being pretty either.

"Well, we have a different perception about it then." He replied in a more comfortable tone of voice as if they know each other for so long now.

"Why don't you show yourself too? It's unfair you know?" Jennie asked which he responded with a low chuckle before spinning her around then pulled her closer this time. His hot breath can be felt on her ears that made shivers run on her spine.

"It would be better if not tonight." He stated so Jennie didn't argue anymore. He just paid one million dollars for her so he's the boss.

Their pace was slow unlike the other pairs surrounding them. Pulling her closer, he felt her chest colliding with his softly, her smell intoxicates him. She's bittersweet bringing him a spring floral feels with the orange blossom perfume she used for tonight.

"I'm curious, why would you spend a million dollar for a dance with me?" Jennie asked which came out like a whisper. Her hands and arms is on the top of her shoulders almost hugging him just like what he does.

"It wasn't for the dance, it's for the charity." He replied making her pull away and roll her eyes at the guy.

"I'm just kidding, don't be to serious." He playfully stated as he pull her closer again and put his chin on the top of her head.

"I can't see you with someone else that isn't me as I only have my eyes on you since you entered the room, are you satisfied with my answer?" He said and now Jennie can't help but to smile and giggle like a highschool girl.

"I can't stop myself especially when you looked at me with pleading eyes, telling me to bid for you."

"I did?" Jennie asked though she knows what he's talking about, she's just too embarrassed to admit it. He nodded in response as they slow dance in the middle.

"Yes, so maybe you can make it worth it." Jennie's heart pounded wildly as she imagine the meaning behind his statement. Will he ask for a sex? The thought made Jennie scream and panic inside but she kept it cool.
