3rd Person's POV

Scarlett and Levi were waiting for the Garrisons to bring Phil out from his cell to the visitation room. Since the Garrison was a large enough division, some were in charge of guarding prison cells throughout Wall Rose. There was already a handful of families visiting their loved ones, while the couple waited.

Scarlett stands up from her chair, seeing once the door opens as they bring Phil out. Despite, hating it in the cells, he never fails to smile once he gets visitors. Especially when it's Scarlett or Delilah with the baby. Once they undo his chains, Scarlett goes to hug her adoptive father. It was rather abruptly, which got him a bit by surprise, as he used the table to catch himself.

As much as she didn't let herself seem bothered by the news of finding out her biological father's name. Scar couldn't help but feel thankful for having any parental figure at all. Sure, Phil has made mistakes, but he took her it when her actually family abandoned her.

While Scar was living with Kol, Phil tried as a means of contacting her. He tried to write letters, with the few words that he knew, but he never got anything back. Phil figured she was still upset with him. But he still kept sending. After three years of not seeing her or hearing from her, he took it upon himself to visit. Kol fooled him saying, Scarlett didn't wish to see him. If only Phil knew she was underground, then he fought to save her. He never visited again, till the news of the fire. Phil visited Kol at the hospital while he was getting treated for his burns. For five whole years, Phil thought Scarlett died in the fire.

Phil was overwhelmed by grief, especially the soon followed death of his sister. After Delilah had a set-up life in the military, he felt now he could atone his regret. Phil headed straight to the MPs to turn himself in, for only to have met Mak. Who told him the truth and that Scarlett was in the military. As promised not telling him anything with Kol, that was her story to tell. Phil believes that she still didn't want to see him and respect the need to stay away. But he will admit that he rode all the way to Trost District just to catch a small glimpse of her own squad go off an individual expedition.

Phil could catch only her right side profile, he was worried that she would look scared. Instead, she had a determined look at her face, as she leads her squad out the walls. He was happy that she was okay, and he couldn't believe how brave she was. Thankfully, Delilah got stationed in Trost, so when Phil visited from Wall Sina and caught sight of Scar a total of six times throughout the next five years. After Delilah gave birth to Luna, Phil moved to Trost to be closer to his family.

Scar pulls away from the tight hug, "Sorry about that, I'm just happy to see you." She smiled.

Phil smiles back, "This old man?" He jokes. "I'm happy to see both, together and well." His accent was rough, and his pronunciation is choppy, as he glances at Levi. This was the first time they visited him together. At first, it was Levi, while Scarlett was occupied with therapy. Then once work started, it was only Scarlett coming alone whenever she had the chance to go.

Levi sticks his hand to shake with Phil, "Good see to you, Phil." Previously, Levi addressed Phil as "Sir" but after months of taking Scarlett with him, Phil insisted to be on a first-name basis.

Phil lightly slaps the handshake out of the way, "Oh would you quit the formality, come here." Phil pulls Levi into a hug. For a moment, Levi is trying to process the interaction. For months he and Phil have gotten into good terms. Phil treats him like a son he never had. Nonetheless, Levi returned the embrace of the taller older man. Although it did feel weird, to be hugged someone taller than him that wasn't Hange.

After pulling away, the three of them took a seat at the table. Phil looked at the two of them in front of him, his mind went positive thoughts to why they both came to see him.
