"Alright, now concentrate. Close your eyes and try to feel energy flowing throughout your body". I listened to what Deku said as I concentrated. I started to feel faint energy flowing through me, but it goes away as I try to feel more. I opened my eyes then looked at Deku.
"I can't do it Deku, as I'm trying to feel the energy it comes then goes away, there's really no point in me even having a quirk. I'm just a useless and a pathetic human after all." I closed my eyes as I hung my head low to the ground. I'm useless. I'm just a poor human who was nothing but a money bag to the ones who used to be my parents. It's better for me to leave so I wont become a burden to anyone else. Before more thoughts came into my head Deku turned me around with both of his hands on my shoulders as he looked into my eyes with a few tears coming out of his.
"That's enough Y/N, stop talking about yourself like that. Just hearing you say stuff like that hurts me. What your parents did to you was wrong and I hate them for that. You lived a hard life, making very little money barely able to live in the conditions you were in, but you are here today because you are a fighter. You are stronger than the people who raised you. You are not useless and I don't hate you for being a human, and this is coming from me who's a vampire. You have me on your side and I will stand by you no matter what. Come on, let me see that beautiful smile of yours." Deku poked me on the cheek as a smile formed on my face. "There's that bright smile of yours. Now, lets try this again. Close your eyes and let your power flow through your body."
I closed my eyes again, focusing on the energy as it flows throughout my body from my fingertips to my toes. After a few moments have passed Deku gasped in shock. "Y/N you did it, look." I opened my eyes and what I saw shocked me.

A small tornado of water formed in front of me. "I-I did that?" I was so shocked I didn't know what to say. "You can control water Y/N! You have a water quirk!" I was so happy that I gave Deku a hug.
"Thank you so much Deku. I didn't even know that I even had this quirk, but thanks to you I can start practicing on how to use my powers; however, it will take me a long time to get used to since I never used my powers before." I looked at my hands realizing that I have a lot of training to do. Deku took both of his hands and held it in mine, "Don't worry Y/N, I will help you train so you can get better at using your quirk, it will take time but eventually you will master at using your quirk." I thanked him for him being my teacher in practicing on how to use my quirk.
After two hours has passed we finished taking care of the horses and decided to call it a night and head back to our rooms. Deku walked me back to my room and asked if I needed anything before bed. I told that I'm alright and for him to get some rest. Before he left he told me to call for him if I needed anything.
As Deku took his leave I closed the door to my room and did my nightly routine to get ready for bed. I decided to get a bit of fresh air before I slept for the night. I walked onto the balcony as I looked at the glowing moon as it sat in the night sky.

I closed my eyes as I took a deep breath in and slowly breathed out. I listened to the wind as it brushed gently on my skin as my hair flew along with it. I listened to the creatures that walked in the shadows, hiding from what little light is lit. The world is vast with many different creatures besides humans. You may think that humans are the only creatures that exist, but your wrong. The stories we hear about... fairies, fae, elves, mermaids, wizards, of course vampires, and so much more. I looked at the moon one last time before I closed the door to the balcony and made my way to the bed and turned off the lights.
"I have a busy day tomorrow with taking care of the horses and with Deku training me on how to use my quirk." I closed my eyes, awaiting for sleep to take over. As that was taking place a pair of red eyes looked at me through the doors of the balcony.
I'm extremely sorry for the long wait of the next chapter. I've just had a lot going on with work and my personal life I just didn't have the energy to update the next chapter. As of now I'm currently unemployed [been out of work since October 2022] so I'll try to make more chapters as much as I can. Again I'm so sorry for the long wait
