My Beloved Mate (Vampire Todoroki x Reader)

After the enemies left Todoroki escorted me to the bathroom to clean up as he'll have the cooks prepare me a meal after the encounter. I sat in the tub with rose scented oils, steam from the warm water filling the air. I had a tons of questions running through my mind, questions that need answering. Suddenly what that guy who went by the name Dabi said popped in my head, 'I take it that you must be Y/n. Boss wants you alive...' It sent chills down my spine. Bringing my knees to my chest as I buried my face into my legs trying to at least calm myself.

What did I do?

Why is he after me?

Is there something that everyone here knows that I don't?

My train of thought was interrupted from a gentle knock from the door. I pushed those questions in the back of my mind, hoping that later my questions will be answered.

"Yes.. who is it?"

"It's just me, I just wanted to know if you're ok, plus Deku came by with your nightgown and said the food is gonna be done shortly. Could I open the door and set the nightgown on the chair that's next to the door? He spoke in a soft calm manner. I gave him the ok as he opened the door just enough to put the nightgown on the chair as he shut the door.

"When you are done I'll walk you to the dinning area so you can eat your meal, but please no rush". He spoke through the door. I thanked him, pushing the thoughts I have to the back of my mind as I finished up my bath. I know he said to take my time but I'll feel bad to make him wait for me, so I quickly finished up washing up. Once done I quickly dried up and grabbed my nightgown that Todoroki placed on the chair for me. The nightgown was a beige color that went down to my ankles. I did my best to dry my hair but it was still slightly damp. I opened the door to see Todoroki standing to the side patiently waiting.

"Are you all set Y/n?" He spoke in a calm tone. I gently nodded my head yes as he held his hand out.

"Ok then, let me lead you to the dinning area so you can get something to eat." I held his hand as we walked to the dining area. His hold on my hand was gentle, despite him being a vampire his hand held some warmth which brought me comfort. After some time of us walking we made it to the dining area as the food was being placed on the table. Todoroki brought me over to the chair as he pulled it out for me. I sat down as he took the seat next to me just as the others came in and took the seats near us.

I looked at my plate of food which had steak, mixed vegetables, a baked potato, and a small bowl of soup on the side with tea to drink. I hesitated a bit until Todoroki said that it's ok to eat. I picked up my utensils and started to eat the food, not wanting to make Todoroki or the others be more worried about me...I don't wanna be a burden. The table remained silent with the only sound of the utensils hitting the plate as we all ate, that was until Kirishima broke the silence.

"Hey Y/n, are you sure you're ok?" Kirishima asked a bit concerned since I been quiet.

"Yeah I'm ok Kiri, don't worry about me." I reassured him while giving him a small smile.

"Don't lie. We can clearly see that there's something wrong so spill it and get it done with." Bakugou said with the look of annoyance on his face. Knowing that they wont let it go I asked all the questions that I had in my head from why we were attacked, who those people were that attacked, and most importantly why they were specifically after me. They said they would explain everything, but said to enjoy and finish my meal.

As time passed we finished eating our meal at the servants came to take the dirty dishes into the kitchen to get cleaned. We got up and made our way down the hall with the candle lights lighting our way. We continued walking until we got to a dead end. A bit confused I was gonna say something until Todoroki pressed one on the stones on the wall and a secret door opened that revealed stairs going down. Todoroki must've sensed my nervousness as he took my hand in his saying that it was ok. As we made it to the bottom of the stairs we came to a beautifully carved wooden door. On the door were vines that seemed to be overlapping each other with a Pegasus one side and a unicorn on the other. Before I got the chance to speak Todoroki spoke in a soft tone.
