We continued to train throughout this the day til the sun was close to setting in the horizon, telling us to start heading back before night comes as well as the creatures that dwell in the darkness. I helped pack up camp and making sure nothing is left behind. Once we packed everything up and strapped them to our horses as we started to head back to the castle. The ride on the way back to the castle was quiet with only the sounds of crickets and some owls along with the sound of the hoof prints as the horses walked on the ground. It was a cold night as the cool wind brushed against my skin, making me shake a little. Deku saw my current state as he moved towards me taking off his coat as he draped it over my shoulders.

"Here Y/n, take my coat. It's cold tonight and we can't have you getting sick, it would worry Shoto." Deku said with a soft smile on his face.

"Thank you Deku, but what about you? Will you be ok without your coat though?" I asked while I put my arms through the sleeves.

"I'm sure Y/n, I'll be ok. Remember I'm a vampire, so the cold doesn't bother me. You're still human so you still need to be careful about things around you, that includes your health." Deku said as he placed his hand on my shoulder. I smiled on nodded my head. We all talked as we continued our way back until Bakugou stopped as we did the same.

"Hey Bakugou, everything ok man?" Kiri spoke as he made he turned around a little.

"I feel like somebody is following us. It's not someone who works at the castle. We're not that far from the royal grounds so we'll make a run for it. Kiri and Denki go ahead, Deku stay next to Y/n, I'll stay behind. Run now and don't look back." We all made a run to the royal grounds, if we're being followed the royal guards will defeat anything that's after us." Five minutes passed when we finally arrived to one of the gate entrances. Right before we passed the gate flames bursted out, blocking the entrance to the castle. Our horses reared up out of fear and took off from the sudden burst of flames that appeared. Me, Kiri, Denki, as well as Deku got knocked off our horses since we were the closest ones to the flames.

Bakugou was right, we were being followed and now we're under attack. I pushed myself up to my hands and knees, trying to get my senses together after getting knocked off my horse. I looked up to see a guy walking through the blue fire with a small blue flame formed in his hand as he looked at me. He had vicious scaring all over his body, his eyes were a turquoise color, the same as Todoroki's and King Enji's eyes. He wore a long black an white coat that went down to his ankles. He then spoke to me in a low tone as a small smirk appeared on his face.

"I take it that you must be Y/n. Boss wants you alive, but he didn't say that you had to come unharmed. So why don't you hold still, don't want me to hurt you more than I already will." A blast of blue flames came toward me. The others shouted my name as I closed my eyes waiting for the pain from the fire to hit my body. I suddenly felt an arm wrap around me as the shielded me with their body. I then heard a sound of something cracking then a soft voice spoke.

"I'm sorry for not arriving sooner, but I'm here now to help protect you." I opened my eyes to see Todoroki holding me to hid chest. I looked behind him to see a giant ice wall that protected us from the flames. He helped me to my feet as he still held onto me. "Are you ok? Do you have any injuries? " Todoroki said as he looked over to make sure.

"I'm fine, but what's going on? Who is he?" I asked as I looked behind him. The moment I looked behind him I saw the wall of ice starting to melt from the guy who controls that blue flame. Todoroki immediately sensed the danger and quickly ran from it with me in his arms. Steam surrounded the area so it was difficult to see what was happening around us or where that guy was.

"Y/n, whatever you do don't leave my side. You aren't safe at the moment." After he replied he called out to the others to come help. Within an instant they were right next to me to help Todoroki defend me from the one who's attacking us. At this point hundreds of questions were popping in my head, but now is not the time to be asking those questions, we have a bigger situation to worry about. Suddenly Kiri went to my side and blocked a knife that was thrown at me. Kirishima's arm quickly hardened as the knife made contact with is arm,as it then fell to the ground.
