Aimee walked into work and sighed as she saw Tom. He had been avoiding her for a few days and she didn't know. But it was annoying her to say the least. Especially when she didn't know what she had done.

Aimee walked over to Esmè and sighed. "What have I done to Tom? He's avoiding me," she said.

Esmè frowned. "I don't know. Why?"

"You're having his baby. I just thought he would have talked to you. He's been avoiding me for the past couple days and I don't know why. I don't remember pissing him off."

"I'll try and find out what's happened. Don't worry," Esmè said.

"Hard not to. I haven't even done anything to him. He's a jackass," Aimee said. She sighed. "I only warned him to not mess you or baby around."

Aimee sat in the staffroom. She looked up as Tom walked in. "Tom!"

"Sorry. I'm busy now. Later."

Aimee rolled her eyes. "No. Not later. Now. What the hell is up with you?"'

Tom turned back to her. He pulled her into an empty classroom. "Because... someone saw us. And they're threatening to tell Esmè about us having an affair."

Aimee frowned. "Who?"

"I don't know. I just... things are going well at the moment. With me and you. And the co-parenting with Esmè."

Aimee couldn't believe what had happened. She didn't know what to do. She looked at him. "What do we do?" She asked.

"We act like we're not together anymore. We pretend that we're going separate ways. I'll come over tonight and go through the back door. Okay?" Tom said.

"Okay. Tom.. I love you."

Tom smiled and kissed her. "I love you too."

Aimee sat in her classroom. She couldn't believe that someone knew about her and Tom. She knew that Tom was having a baby with Esmè. But she wanted them work out.

She looked up as Esmè walked in. "Have you spoke to Tom?"

"No. He's ignoring me still."

Esmè smiled slightly. "Is there anything going on with you and Tom? It's just... Lexie before. She told me she saw you over at his house. I'm not mad if there is. I just...I need to know."

Aimee frowned. "There's nothing going on. I just don't like how he's ignoring me. We work together. And we shouldn't have to avoid each other."

Esmè nodded. "Okay. Well... Lexie wants to know when she can come and see her favourite auntie."

"I'm her only auntie."

Aimee was sitting in her house. She heard the back door opening and saw Tom. She smiled. "Hey. Did anyone see you?" She asked.

Tom shook his head. He walked over to her and kissed her. "We're going to sort this. I promise you," he said.

"Let's come clean to Esmè. Then we can fix it and make it work. Lexie will be happy and I'll be there for the new baby. But if we come clean, then whoever is blackmailing us, has no reason to."

Aimee nodded and kissed him. They both knew they had to make it work for them. But with the person blackmailing them about to step it up, would it all go wrong for them?
